McFly Indonesiassa, McFly on the Wall -mainos

McFly konsertti järjestämä Triglogy Tämä sarja promo kiertueen "Above the Noise". Tom ja Giovanna menivät kihloihin! + the Matt Edmondson Show & Cadbury Creme Egg haasteita

Tom kosi Giovannaa eilen siinä paikassa, missä he tapasivat ensimmäistä kertaa Sylvia Young Theatre Schoolissa noin 12 vuotta sitten. Miten romanttista!

"McFly star Tom Fletcher gets engaged *heart breaks*
McFly's Tom Fletcher breaks all our hearts by proposing to his girlfriend.
IT'S not like we ever thought we had a chance with McFly's Tom Fletcher. But a girl can dream can't they?
McFly star Tom Fletcher has shattered our dreams this morning (OK so we know we're being melodramatic but indulge us please) by getting engaged.
The popstar fittie popped the question last night at the spot where the pair first met at school (true romantic).
And Italian girlfriend of seven years Giovanna Falcone said yes (who wouldn't).
Tom took to Twitter to announce the news, saying: "Ok, so you'd find out from someone else sooner or later so I thought I'd be the first one to tell you...
"I proposed to @giovannafalcone earlier tonight... and she said YES!
"We are now officially engaged!"
Gorgeous Giovanna rubbed salt in our wound by tweeting: "I have one question... Am I meant to take my brand new sparkling engagement ring off before I wash the dishes?
"I'm gonna be Mrs Fletcher!"
She added: "The boy did sooooooo good! Proposed on the spot where we first met at school... Ahhhh! Truly beautiful and romantic-just like him! Xxxx"
Mrs Fletcher-to-be, we'll happily admit we're well jel."

"McFly star Tom is engaged
McFLY star TOM FLETCHER will be the first member of the boyband to walk down the aisle after he asked his girlfriend to marry him last night.
The pop star popped the question to pretty Italian Giovanna Falcone - his girlfriend of seven years - at the Sylvia Young Theatre school where they first met.
Tom told Giovanna she needed to do some filming for McFly's upcoming documentary series at the school on her own.
However, when she arrived there Tom surprised her by appearing and getting down on one knee.
How sweet.
Shortly afterwards Tom eagerly Tweeted fans with the news before whisking Giovanna off to London's posh Ivy restaurant.
He wrote: "Ok, so you'd find out from someone else sooner or later so I thought I'd be the first one to tell you...
"I proposed to @giovannafalcone earlier tonight... and she said YES!
"We are now officially engaged!"
Giovanna then added: "I have one question... Am I meant to take my brand new sparkling engagement ring off before I wash the dishes?
"I'm gonna be Mrs Fletcher!"
The pair met when they were both 13 and studying at the
Sylvia Young theatre school in London.
A date for the wedding has yet to be announced however Tom told fans this morning he had received a 5am wake up call to look at venues.
He Tweeted: "Morning all! Bloomin tired since I was woken up at 5am to look at wedding venues...but all good:D A beautiful sunny day."
Congratulations."

"McFly woe at waxing
McFLY are regretting waxing their legs as part of a recent dare. As well as eating lots of chocs, both Tom and Dougie's bodies have suffered from their recent Creme Egg Goo Dares wins challenges. Tom revealed: "We'd look ridiculous in shorts. Both Dougie and I have no hair on our right legs. "We had to get them waxed as a dare and the hair hasn't grown back yet. "It's just kind of bald and that's 25, nearly 26, years of growth down there so it's got a bit to go." Daily Record

"Danny Jones - Danny Jones Fuming About Online Hack
Mcfly star Danny Jones is fuming after one of his online accounts was targeted by a hacker.
The British singer discovered on Friday (08Apr11) that a prankster had accessed one of his webpages and changed his settings - and he's branded the fraudster a "loser" for targeting his personal files.
In a series of posts on his Twitter page, he writes, "What is the point in hacking my mail you sad sad person!!! Have fun.
"Ahhh I see and you've changed my birthday too???... Congrats (sic) you officially have nothing better to do in your loser life."

"James enjoys magical McFly experience
ROWNEY Green youngster James Lynskey had the treat of his life when he was invited to perform with pop idols McFly at Birmingham’s LG Arena.
The 15-year-old, who suffers with a serious heart condition, met the chart-topping band before they performed at the venue last week.
The meeting was arranged by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, a UK charity that grants wishes to youngsters who are fighting life-threatening illnesses.
James has suffered with a heart condition since contracting meningitis with his twin Grace when just one-week-old.
He will eventually require a heart transplant and has been unable to take part in any sport as a result.
As a result James has spent much of his time mastering various musical instruments instead and was able to show off his skills to McFly, who are his favourite band, while they were performing sound checks ahead of the concert.
James, his twin sister Grace, brother Joe and parents Gerard and Collette were given the VIP treatment as they were taken from their Rowney Green home to the stadium in a luxury limousine.
Collette said: “James was thrilled. The McFly boys were lovely and the entire day was a money-can’t-buy experience.
“It was a day that will stay with us forever, whatever happens. We will always be grateful to have memories like this. It was truly magical.”

"Just for fun, watch McFly getting goo’d

Is it a bit weird that we fancy McFly even when they’re covered in Creme Egg filling? It is? Ok, well pretend we didn’t just say that.

Danny, Tom, Harry and Dougie have been taking part in Goo Dares Wins, completing a set of challenges and the public have been voting to decide which member should complete the ultimate dare – getting covered in goo. Cadburys assure us the votes were so close that all boys had to get covered in Creme egg filling. We aren’t complaining – we’re loving seeing the boys covered in a sticky mess, and laughing at their squeals.

"Still McFlying high after all these years
McFly are achieving the impossible in pop right now: getting to five albums without any acrimonious departures, mediocre solo careers or the inevitable feeble fizzle. If the sparky quartet are less visible to the man on the street today that's because, like pop Scientologists, they've advanced to a higher plane. Through an innovative web subscription service, they've sacrificed some chart eligibility to secure a more committed fanbase. Members were watching this concert live from all over the world.
And what fun they all had. Eight years into their career, the band showed no lessening enthusiasm for their role as bouncing exuberance machines. They fired T-shirts with guns, booted giant balls around the crowd and even wheeled on singer Tom Fletcher's dad for a guitar solo.
Perhaps scared of dampening the party mood, there was no mention of bassist Dougie Poynter's recent rehab stint (they're not completely immune to music clichés) though he did get one of the biggest screams for a rare lead vocal on Transylvania.
The more electronic direction they displayed on recent album Above the Noise was all but abandoned as they wrestled their guitars like alligators on Corrupted and a punk take on Tinie Tempah's Pass Out. The slick brilliance of If U C Kate suggested they are worthy of more worldwide hits, but in their own world, McFly are doing very nicely."

"McFly's Dougie Poynter shows no sign of Frankie Sandford heartbreak on tour (& looks FIT)
Dougie Poynter looks like he's getting over Frankie Sandford as McFly rock out in Birmingham.
MCFLY's Dougie Poynter has been going through a tough time since splitting from The Saturdays' Frankie Sandford.
But last night Dougie Poynter showed no signs of his heartbreak as he took to the stage with McFly in Birmingham.
The heartthrob, who entered rehab following his split from The Saturdays beauty Frankie Sandford, looked like he was having a blast on stage with his bandmates Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher.
Rocking out on his guitar to McFly's hits, the bassist was given a warm welcome from his fans as they lit up the LG Arena - and garnered more than a few swoons from their fans in the audience.
The boys, who have been together since 2003, are currently on their Above The Noise tour around the UK, before they head off to Japan and Spain.
We can't wait for them to bring the house down at Wembley Arena when they arrive this weekend - if only to get more glimpses of our beloved Dougie.
Mega *phwooooooaaaarrr*."

"Review: McFly, Odyssey Arena, Belfast
Fans were fortunate that last night's rescheduled Belfast show by McFly happened at all.
The illnesses of two of the band last month forced the gig's postponement; then bassist Dougie Poynter entered rehab.
But all four members were present and correct at the Odyssey Arena for a high-energy rip through their eight-year career.
The hall was some way off capacity, but the erstwhile boy band didn't let that put them off, giving the concert their all.
They started with four songs from 2010's less poppy, more punky, fifth album, Above the Noise. It was a brave move, and the group's new, heavier style seemed convincing enough.
Party Girl was a surprisingly pounding opener, while If U C Kate reminded this writer, oddly, of forgotten 1990s alternative rockers Jellyfish.
There wasn't much of a stage show to speak of, or many additional musicians — just a bit of pyro, a walkway that extended over the crowd, a keyboard player and two backing vocalists.
Though skewing heavily to the current CD, the set also included a number of oldies.
Transylvania was augmented by spooky imagery on the video screens, while 5 Colours in Her Hair had a mid-section breakdown to allow the band to fire T-shirts into the crowd.
Yet some hits were nowhere to be heard and former number ones All About You and Obviously were squeezed together in a medley.
The band, now in their mid-20s, clearly prefer to rock out, with their scissor-kicks, unruly hair and armfuls of tattoos giving them the appearance of Green Day's kid brothers. They like to muck around between songs, too.
Poynter and guitarist Tom Fletcher had colds, leading the bassist to joke, to the horror of fans: “It's because we keep kissing and sleeping in the same bed.”
McFly might not be the edgiest outfit in town but at least they do write their own songs and play their own instruments.
Indeed, the musicianship was very good, notably drummer Harry Judd.
As long as they keep delivering the goods, rocking the stage in tight jeans and ripped vests, McFly should continue to transfix the kids."

"Mcfly - Mcfly's Fletcher Invites Dad To Rock Out On Stage
Mcfly star Tom Fletcher made his dad's rock dreams come true on Friday (01Apr11) when he invited him onstage to perform with the band at London's massive Wembley Stadium.
The band is currently on its international Above The Noise tour, and thrilled thousands of fans when they took to the stage at the legendary venue in the British capital.
And it wasn't only the band's fans who were enjoying themselves - frontman Fletcher gave his former rocker dad the chance to return to his musical roots and play along with his son's band.
Fletcher tells Britain's News of the World, "Having dad on stage with us was incredible. He was in a band when I was a little boy and he'd let me sing with him. Now I can do the same for him. He's my idol."

"Phillip Schofield teases McFly 'Cube' ep
Phillip Schofield has teased an upcoming appearance by McFly's Tom Fletcher on gameshow The Cube.
Fletcher filmed his attempt at taking on the various challenges earlier this year. Writing on Twitter at the time, he admited that it had a "very tricky" experience but refused to reveal if he had been successful.
Speaking to the Radio Times, Schofield said: "Tom Fletcher from boyband McFly is on during this series and that's an amazing show.
"His bandmates were hilarious as his supporters - they give him what turns out to be utterly useless advice!"
The This Morning and Dancing On Ice host revealed that some of his celebrity friends have backed out of appearing on the ITV1 show.
"Jonathan Ross said he definitely wanted to do it and then I gave him a date to come to the studio and I never heard another thing from him. Chris Moyles was the same - they're all mouth and no trousers!"
He added: "I reckon if anyone can beat the Cube it would be Prince Harry. He'd probably be great fun and very accurate, so he'd top my list [of people] to come on the show."
The third series of The Cube begins on ITV1 at 8pm on Sunday, April 3."

"Review: McFly, Capital FM Arena
FOUR young men playing guitars and drums, singing catchy three minute pop songs. Whilst it might have catapulted The Beatles into the world's biggest band, it hasn't quite worked that way for current chart favourites McFly.
On the final night of their tour – the original Nottingham date was postponed by three weeks – the foursome pulled out all the stops to put on a show that no-one in the large audience could say they didn't enjoy.
McFly are a curious beast. For anyone who still believes that they are a manufactured boy band with limited talent; think again. Whether you care for their music or not, these boys can sing, can play and can write great pop music. From the opening notes of Party Girl, it was clear that this was going to be a loud, fun spectacle and so it turned out over a packed two hour set.
It's easy to dismiss McFly as low rate chart fodder, but they can boast seven number one singles in the UK (more than Queen, Rod Stewart, Britney Spears and Rihanna), five top twenty albums and a Brit award. As time has passed, they seem to have become more widely accepted thanks to universally popular hits such as All About You and Obviously – performed as a medley here – and through radio friendly collaborations with the likes of Taio Cruz.
By the size and enthusiasm of the audience, McFly can also boast a large and loyal fan base. They have been at the top of their profession for eight years now; an achievement that many artists would give their right arm for.
With Tom and Danny's vocals sounding as good as ever, the foursome ploughed through hits including Transylvania, Lies and Star Girl with the emphasis very much on everyone having a good time. Shooting T-shirts into the audience from cannons, fireworks and giant balloons were the order of the day and a terrific version of Tinie Tempah's Pass Out and the great The Last Song concluded the main show.
To rings of fire and more pyrotechnics, the band returned to give us the brilliant One For The Radio and The Heart Never Lies before returning to the stage for a second time with a rousing rendition of recent top five hit Shine A Light.
McFly are a band that you've probably assumed you don't like, but perhaps it's time to think again. As they say: "don't pretend you hate us when you sing along, cause we all look the same in the dark."
Set list:
Party Girl, Nowhere Left To Run, If U C Kate, That's The Truth, Transylvania, Lies, Corrupted, Falling In Love, All About You/Obviously, I Need A Woman, End Of The World, Smile, Star Girl, Five Colours In Her Hair, Pass Out, The Last Song, One For The Radio, The Heart Never Lies, Shine A Light"

"Marlborough teen's dream comes true
A dream come true, is how Marlborough teenager Robert Dobie described being taken backstage to see McFly before their performance at the NEC in Birmingham.
He met his favourite band with his mother Michelle and a group of friends.
Robert, 16, of Rabley Wood View was a guest of the band after meeting them when they visited Marlborough’s Sound Knowledge music to promote new releases.
Theformer St John’s School student Robert told them how he had nearly died when he contracted food poisoning after eating a burger at a market in Swindon in December 2009.
He developed complications and was transferred from Great Western Hospital to Bristol Children’s Hospital where he suffered a stroke and on Christmas Day his parents, Michelle and Bob, were warned he could die. His parents played his favourite albums, including McFly, as he lay in hospital.
When the band heard his story they invited him to take along some friends to their concert last Wednesday.
Robert said: “I would just like to say thank you to everyone involved in this and I can never thank them enough.
“The concert and meeting the band before it started has been out of this world.
“The McFly members are particularly close to me as mum and dad and the nurses played their CDs to me whileI was in a coma at the Bristol hospital and I still believe to this day this helped to bring me round.”
Robert said when they were invited back-stage “the boys shook my hand and asked ‘How are you Rob?’ like we are all best mates.”

"McFly's Tom Fletcher: Dougie Poynter falls in love easily
Frankie Sandford's ex Dougie is McFly's most romantic
Dougie Poynter is McFly's only singletonThe only single boy in McFly is the most romantic, according to singer Tom Fletcher.
Dougie Poynter, 23, who split from The Saturdays' Frankie Sandford, 22, last November is the only bachelor in the band.
And Tom reckons Dougie's the one who goes to town when he finds a special lady.
'Dougie's the most extreme in his actions when he likes someone,' reveals Tom.
'He'll buy her the most amazing presents or has hotel rooms decorated out.
'He falls in love really easily.'
McFly guitarist Dougie has sworn off women for a while after his tough break-up and stint in rehab.
But he admits to having a wild time in the past, sleeping with two different girls 'within 24 hours'.
'One was in the morning,' he tells Celebs On Sunday, 'then the other one the next night. Two, but not at the same time.'"

"Mcfly - Mcfly Axe Japan Tour
British pop stars Mcfly have postponed their upcoming tour of Japan in the aftermath of the earthquake/tsunami disaster last month (Mar11), according to singer/guitarist Tom Fletcher.
The band was due to jet to the Far East next week (beg11Apr11) to play a number of shows in Osaka and Tokyo.
But they have now decided to scrap the concerts as relief work continues to help survivors of the massive tremor and tidal wave, which left thousands dead.
Fletcher says, "We've got the world, Europe, south America (to come) but we're going to have to postpone the trip to Japan."
MCFly's Japan tour was due to kick off in Osaka on Wednesday (13Apr11)."
