"McFly's Dougie Poynter checks into rehab
Broken-hearted Dougie Poynter has checked himself into rehab after struggling to cope with his split from Saturdays star Frankie Sandford.
The McFly guitarist had thought he would settle down for life with the girl of his dreams, but his hopes were shattered when the stunning singer dumped him last November.
And Dougie just couldn’t get over the split. In fact, I can reveal the star has spent the past four weeks in the Priory getting his head straight ahead of the McFly Above The Noise nation- wide tour which kicks off in a few weeks. Dougie, 23, who’s been one of my favourite drinking buddies over the years, is now said to be doing well after treatment and is nearly ready to come out and face the music once more.
A source close to the star tells me: “Dougie was absolutely heartbroken when Frankie dumped him. He saw himself getting married and having kids and being with her for life. And he was just crushed. It got to the point where he was struggling to get through the day so he decided to seek help at the Priory clinic. He’s been in there working hard on getting his head straight. He’s not had a phone or been in touch with any of the band. But they’re backing him all the way and hoping he comes out a far happier person.”
The cheeky star started dating Frankie in January 2009 before they split in March 2010. They got back together a month later before finally parting company last November.
Dougie revealed in his last interview before rehab that he was devastated, saying: “I don’t think I’m over it yet. Something like that could take years. It’s just time.”
But one thing that couldn’t have helped the star seeing Frankie – voted one of FHM’s sexiest women in 2010 – move on so quickly. She is now dating West Ham footballer Wayne Bridge. The pair were first spotted together in January and she has all but moved in to his pad.
I truly hope Dougie gets himself back on his feet – he’s a great guy. I’m told he will be fit as a fiddle for the tour later this month. Altogether now... phew!"

Uusi ulkoasu!!
Kuten varmaan huomasitte, tein tänään uuden ulkoasun! Ajattelin tällä kertaa ottaa aiheeksi vain Tomin ja käydä sitten jokaisen McFlyn jäsenen läpi tulevissa ulkoasuissa. Mitä mieltä olette? Kommentoikaa tähän tai twiitatkaa @mcflyfinland!

Interviewing McFly is always a pleasant experience – they’re nice to look at, they’re unpretentious and they quite like talking about sex. Hence why we’ve interviewed them 48 times over the past year.
Although Dougie was missing due to man flu (McFlu! BAD JOKE), we ambled along to interview the boys earlier this week. Meeting them in north London, where they’re currently rehearsing for their UK tour which kicks off this month, we decided to play a game of ‘true or false’ with McFly. Not just because we’re journalists and always striving to find the truth (what a load of old bollocks), but because their new single is called That’s The Truth.
It was during this entirely original game that we discovered Danny has four nipples, Tom only likes to talk about cats and Harry crashed his car on Sunday.

We dared you to wax your legs today. How was that?
Dougie: It killed. And now my legs look like my 20-year-old sister’s. Not good!
Have you ever been waxed before?Danny: No, but I’ve shaved my nipples.
Really? Eurgh! We’ve also made you bath and shower in goo today. We’re mean!
Tom: Yeah, Dougie and I had a shower together.
Oo-er…
Harry: And me and Danny had to get in a bath while Dougie poured goo on us.
Danny: It was moisturising - thanks!
Any time. You all buffed up last year, are you still looking after yourselves? (Harry flexes his arms and we almost faint!)
Danny: They’re ridiculous.
Harry: They’re smaller than they were last year. From seeing photos of myself, I realised my arms were a bit too much, so I’ve chilled out recently.
Tom: I was really strict with myself last year. I cut out carbs and alcohol, but I’ve stopped all that now. I’d much rather be fat and happy.
Danny: I have a bad back, so I’ve been told to do Pilates and yoga. I’m going to buy Ryan Giggs’ yoga DVD.
Ryan Giggs has a yoga DVD? We’ll have to check that out…you teamed up with singer Taio Cruz back in October. Any other collaborations on the horizon?
Danny: Not at the moment, but Rihanna would be amazing.
Dougie: Blink 182 or Daft Punk would be cool, but we’re open to suggestions.
What would you be doing if you weren’t in McFly?
Dougie: I’d be Prime Minister.
Tom: I’d like to have a been a space-shuttle pilot.
Dougie: But you’re already a pilot!
Tom: Yeah, I am. I’ve got my licence, but I haven’t flown for a year.
We’d come McFlying with you any day! Have you ever taken your girlfriend [Giovanna, 26] with you?
Tom: Yeah, a couple of times, but she always starts to feel sick.
Speaking of the ladies in your life, Dougie, you and Frankie (Sandford from The Saturdays) split up last year. How are things now?
Dougie: I’m moving on to guys! Seriously, though, it was a shock, but these boys were a great support.
Are you and Frankie still in touch?
Dougie: No.
What did you think about her getting together with Wayne Bridge?
Dougie: I’ve never been into football, so I had no idea who he was. I know who Wayne Rooney is, though!
What’s your favourite part of a woman’s body?
Harry: Her bum.
Dougie: Inner thigh. It’s very soft. I’d like my thighs to be that smooth.
You could always wax them again…
Dougie: No way!

Kiertuepäivitys, muutama artikkeli ja Dannyn syntymäpäiväkortti
Dougie ja Harry ovat olleet kipeinä lähiaikoina ja tämän takia he ovat menettäneet paljon harjoitteluaikaa kiertuetta varten. McFly haluaa antaa kaikkensa ja harjoitella tarpeeksi, joten ensimmäiset kolme keikkaa (Nottingham, Belfast ja Dublin) on siirretty. Keikat luultavasti pidetään joskus kiertueen päätteeksi. To us, and we suspect to some of you, the video accompanying McFly's new single is more than a little upsetting. It pains us to see the usually playful Dougie looking so distraught, and we have to ask, what's making him lash out at his own bedroom furniture like that? Miss Sandford, we think you've got some explaining to do.
Thankfully, there's no need for us to be knocking down the doors at Sats HQ, for the track itself offers a full and feasible explanation. "I haven't been messing around / I wouldn't ever go out / And do the things that you don't want me to do," the lads insist here, while producers Dallas Austin and Jason Perry push the buttons marked "anthemic", "pop-rock" and "boyband ballad". It's nothing we haven't heard before, but when the pieces are put together this well, it's all pretty impossible to resist - the track that is, though Dougie...

The guys from McFly were dared by Fabulous Magazine this week to get their legs waxed.
The "Party Girl" singers agreed and have since admitted that the experience was NOT a pleasant one.
Dougie Poynter laughed:
“It killed, and now my legs look like my 20-year-old sister’s. Not good!”
Whereas Harry Judd added:
“Me and Danny [Jones] had to get in a bath while Dougie poured goo on us.”
Danny was slightly more posiotive though. He laughed:
“It was moisturizing – thanks!”"

The tour kicks off at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham on March 12th before finishing at Wembley Arena on April 1st."
