McFlyn piti eilen pitää webchat mcfly.comissa, mutta heille tulikin jotain teknisiä ongelmia ja he pitivät sen sittenkin twitcamissa.
Pääkohdat webchatistä:
- Super City aukaistaan tulevana maanantaina klo 12.00 Suomen aikaa ja silloin pioneerit voivat ladata uuden albumin Above the Noisen sieltä. McFly pitää lyhyitä webchatejä pitkin päivää.
- Halloweenin kunniaksi he laittavat Nowhere Left to Runin kommenttiraidalla Super Cityyn lauantaina klo 19.00 Suomen aikaa.
- He kertoivat myös uudesta kilpailusta, jossa pitää keksiä ideoita McFlyn webchateihin ja 200 parasta pääsee maanantaina KOKOon Lontooseen juhlimaan McFlyn kanssa Super Cityn aukeamista. Lisää kilpailusta voit lukea Facebookista.
Koko webchatin voit katsoa alta.
Myöhemmin he kuitenkin saivat myös mcfly.comin webchatin toimimaan, ja kuvasivat silläkin hieman webchatin loppua. Voit katsoa pätkän mcfly.comista, jos olet pioneer.

"OK, OK, we will have sex with you all – just don’t jump!
It’s a good job Tom Fletcher is wielding that little stick – he’ll need it to beat us away with the next time we bump into McFly – they’re just so damn edible. We’re not quite sure what those protective eye goggles are for though – perhaps McFly are expecting a fairly explosive reaction from the gay fans.
Promoting their new record ABOVE THE NOISE (we’re not just very excited about this – it’s supposed to be in capitals) in this new shoot, McFly stood precariously close to the edge of a building while wearing copious amounts of guy liner.
While the others look relatively normal in a black jacket and jeans, Tom appeared to be the only one who turned up in fancy dress. A bit like when a toddler insists on wearing his Spiderman costume to Asda, with his mum saying: ‘oh, just let him do what he wants – it’s not worth the tantrum.'"

"Alexandra Burke and McFly rock Scotland for BBC Children in Need
Singing sensation Alexandra Burke and chart-topping band McFly are the latest acts confirmed to perform at this year's Children in Need Rocks Scotland.
They will both be taking part in this year's extravaganza from the SECC, which will be shown on BBC One Scotland on Friday 19 November.
Last year, thanks to the creativity, support and commitment of the great British public, BBC Children in Need raised over £39 million with hundreds of projects in Scotland benefitting from the record-breaking total. This year's theme is "show your spots, let's raise lots!" for Children in Need and this could be as simple as baking spotty cupcakes or getting the boss to wear spots for the day, with every penny raised going to disadvantaged children right here in the UK.
Executive producer Graham Mitchell says: "It's great news for Children in Need Rocks Scotland that Alexandra Burke and McFly are coming to perform at the massive party we've got planned for 19 November. They are such great performers I'm sure the crowd at the SECC and viewers watching at home will really love the show. It also helps us raise as much money as we can on the night."

"Gig review: McFly
EDINBURGH PLAYHOUSE ***
MCFLY are back and they're all grown up. Their forthcoming, two-years-in-the-making fifth album Above the Noise might have dispensed with the sugar rush teen pop anthems which made their name in favour of a measured swing towards adult-orientated rock, but the quartet are playing to the same gallery as ever. Those in the almost exclusively female crowd as old as the band's average age, 24, were elder campaigners here.
Otherwise a packed teenage audience screamed along to Tom's affirmation that "being in McFly is the best job in the world", to drummer Harry's rather rambling goodbye, and to the newly buff Dougie and Danny's thick, tattooed arms, like they were a pair of gymnasts for whom puberty has been artificially delayed. Amid fan favourites like All About You and the acoustic heartthrobbery of Too Close For Comfort, the new material actually succeeded very well in being instantly adored by the McFly hardcore while drawing a line in the sand between then and now.
Older fans might have been amused by the way End of the World riffed liberally on Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds, I'll Be Your Man merged falsetto Prince vocals with the opening guitar motif of Band On the Run, and doses of guitar-twiddling, Bryan Adams-like respectability were spread liberally around. As the Take That anthemics of Shine a Light died down, though, the kids just screamed and screamed for more."

"Gig Review: McFly, Playhouse
***
In an age where pop bands disappear as quickly as they arrive, you have to give McFly credit for their longevity.
Bursting onto the scene alongside pals, Busted, in 2004, while some of their peers have been discarded like old sweetie wrappers, as
ADVERTISEMENTthe bubble-gum quartet proved at a packed out Playhouse last night, they haven't lost all their flavour quite yet.
Substituting 'pop' for 'rock', McFly have more of a guitar-driven edge to their music these days; yet despite the shift in dynamic, the group's audience is still made up of 10-year-old girls rather than the 15-year-old boys they're trying to appeal to.
Indeed, when McFly finally took to the stage at 9pm - twenty minutes later than scheduled - the Playhouse had taken on the look of a children's soft-play area, the high-pitched skirl of pre-teens drowning out anything the band's guitars could throw at them. Girls at the lip of the stage pawed at their heroes' legs, some waved banners that said "Pants Off Boys", meanwhile the balcony was literally bouncing under the weight of several hundred pairs of stamping feet. And so it went for the next hour or so.
Thrashing about the stage as though tanked up on too much caffeine, watching McFly is not unlike gazing upon the anti-version of The Monkees. Drummer, Harry Judd, seems more intent on showing off his muscles than his drumming abilities; frontman, Danny Jones, equally keen to demonstrate his best rock-God poses. Bassist, Dougie Poynter, was in his element - spitting water at the audience, knocking people over, and generally making a nuisance of himself. Guitarist, Tom Fletcher, though, simply smiled and looked pretty. A lot.
New tunes? Well, from what you could hear Above The Noise (the name of the band's new album), McFly would appear to have been listening to Prince and prog-rock a fair bit. And by the time they wrapped things up at five past ten – it was a school night and almost bed-time after all – you got the feeling that, unlike other pop bands, McFly might, just might, still be with us another ten years from now."

"TOM FLETCHER from McFLY has talked marriage with his long-term girlfriend.
The singer said: "She's the one. I'm going to get this album done first, we're busy. I can't see myself spending the rest of my life with anyone else." There'll be heartbroken teen girls everywhere today..."

"McFly, Edinburgh Playhouse
****
Their loyal following will queue for hours, scream at anything and buy the same ill-fitting T-shirt at every gig, but as much as “real” music fans might like to sneer, McFly fans are an incredible commodity.
As the band open up with a quadruple bill of new songs (split only by a revamped version of 5 Colours In Her Hair), their hysterical audience – unlike so many “real” crowds for their bands – couldn’t be more welcoming and receptive.
While still firmly placed within the realm of pop, McFly’s new material goes on some fairly unexpected tangents. Party Girl is like their slightly questionable stab at doing Gaga; If You See Kate has a slinky, Prince-like feel; and I Need A Woman is pure old-fashioned, finger-snapping soul.
The showy End Of The World borrows guitar from War Of The Worlds, while new single Shine A Light could have been lifted straight off a Bruno Mars album.
It seems from the outside that McFly have lost all sense of direction: straying dangerously from the guitar pop formula that has earned them a more than comfortable living for many years. But the unexpected reality is, McFly are totally winning at everything they turn their hand to, and don’t embarrass themselves once.
A contrasting combination of old and new tunes makes for a show that never gets dull or predictable; the amount of number one singles they don’t even bother playing giving a good indication of their set’s strength.
Whipping out some old tunes that don’t often get played, two highlights of the night were the infectious Friday Night and the elegant acoustic number Too Close For Comfort – the latter providing uncomfortable listening for those who entertain the notion that McFly are not the real deal."
“Fan review: McFly – Before the Noise, Shepherd’s Bush Empire
When it comes to reviews, who better to listen to than the fans?
First up we’ve got McFly fan Katie Holbeche’s review of their Shepherd’s Bush Empire gig.
Being a McFly fan can be a bittersweet experience sometimes.
While you look forward to every gig with a sense of enthusiasm and anticipation that’s rarely matched by any other live music experience, those around you who aren’t fans seem to insist on making you feel guilty for being excited. These are also the people, it seems, that will refuse to accompany you to a gig and dare to be proved wrong. I’ve only succeeded in taking one friend who wasn’t a fan to a McFly gig, and afterwards, she seemed a little stunned. A look crossed over her face that I’ve only seen again recently when I took my Dad to see Inception. “Wow, they were really…good.” She continued to look at me in utter amazement, eventually promising to download what was then their latest album, once she’d regained her composure.
McFly were always able to prove themselves best through their live shows; and if any non-fans were in the audience at their Shepherd’s Bush Empire gig last week, they will surely have been as equally surprised as my friend was. As they prepare to release their new album ‘Above the Noise’, this ‘Before the Noise’ tour offered a showcase of sorts, so that fans could get a taster of what is soon to come. While some may have been expecting the new songs to all follow in the same vein as their latest single ‘Party Girl’ with an almost electro-pop feel to it, the reality was very different. In fact I can say with confidence that this album, more than any other, promises a huge spectrum of sounds and vibes.
For me, the superb ‘I Need a Woman’ (and it’s killer bass hook courtesy of Dougie Poynter) could be the musical love child of Stevie Wonder and the Rolling Stones, while ‘Nowhere Left to Run’ and ‘If You See Kate’ are the sort of songs that could have been 80’s classics. Danny Jones’ rugged rock voice is perfectly suited to the latter, and he really knows how to work it. But it was the beautiful ‘I’ll Be Your Man’ that could easily become a timeless rock ballad. Looking around the venue as McFly sung this song, regular gig goers and fans alike were transfixed in a swoon-like state. Tom Fletcher’s immaculate falsetto lends the song an edge that you will rarely see in a pop/rock band these days. As the song came to a close, my friend and fellow McFly appreciator Sophie said to me: “They just took their music to a whole new level. Amazing.” As cringeworthy as this may sound, I couldn’t answer immediately, as I was completely speechless. That song alone has got me counting down the days till the album’s released.
McFly had devised a truly innovative set list, a perfect mix of the classic and the new. Drummer Harry Judd was able to go wild with the revival of the ‘Motion in the Ocean’ song ‘Friday Night’, and the return of ‘Wonderland’ classic ‘Too Close for Comfort’ in acoustic form received a roar of approval from fans.
One of the reasons why I’ve come to value the band more and more over the years is the sincerity with which they come across. You’re never in doubt that being in McFly, writing music together and performing together is exactly what these four want to do with their lives. This was evident in the little speech that Judd gave as the evening drew to a close. Though he was, in short, just thanking the fans for such a good night, it is symptomatic of the motivation behind their music; the constant and wholehearted support from their followers. As long as they’re there to tour with them, listen to their music and experience their vision of what the band should (and hopefully, will) become, McFly will never die.
After all, Galaxy Defenders stay forever.”

"SINGLE: McFly Featuring Taio Cruz – Shine a Light
****
It's official; the chanting of “Eh, Eh, Eh” can take a rather mediocre song and make it a club hit. When Dougie and Co start firing this up in the chorus, the intention is for us to start dancing around (drunk obviously) throwing our hands up in the air, just like we did with Dynamite by Taio Cruz. And what do you know; Mr Cruz has joined forces with the McFly boys providing his usual cool and intriguing vocals.
The story behind the song is quite sweet actually. Some girl has only gone and broke their hearts. “She took the light and left me in the dark, eh” is their claim, and preach for us to “Shine a Light on her, eh eh” if we find her. However, it is possible for the listener to interpret this in a couple of ways. Either they’ve actually been mentally destroyed by a girlfriend who has left them, or they’ve gone to the bar to get a drink and can’t find the girl they were with.
Whichever way really doesn’t matter because the beat flows well mixing mainly electronics over acoustics (not quite as heavy as Party Girl) and will still attract the club audiences they were are aiming for. Die hard McFly fans who may have been upset with this new direction the band has taken will also enjoy it. Vocally it’s impressive, but I can’t help but wonder if Shine A Light would be as good as it is without the inclusion of Taio."

"Caught live: McFly
McFLY might have been out of the picture but their loyal fans haven't forgotten them.
Hundreds of hysterical girls packed out the venue for their comeback gig on Tuesday to showcase the band's new tunes.
TOM, DOUGIE, HARRY and DANNY, didn't disappoint, jumping around the stage with some over the top guitar solos and a tight performance.
But the real screaming kicked in when Dougie told the crowd he wanted to sleep with every single one of them.
How well that went down with Harry, whose mum was in the audience, is anybody's guess.
FRANKIE SANDFORD added glamour to the occasion, turning up to support her bloke Dougie with her SATURDAYS bandmate MOLLIE KING.
The lads say they have gone with a "darker' sound on their new album Above The Noise - but I'd say it's more a cross between BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN and BUSTED.
That's no bad thing as The Boss is a legend.
The fellas know how to do guitar pop well and, although it's not my bag, it will please their army of fans."
The Sun
"A night of McFly, The Saturdays, and Taio Cruz!
We went to see McFly the other day and it was awwwesome! Mollie King and Frankie Sandford were there too, and so was Harry's mum!
Oh McFly how we love you so! Sugar went down to wave our hands about, sing, and generally have a big ol' perve at Mcfly when they played in London the other day, and it was TOTALLY amazing. They rocked our socks off. Well, we were actually wearing tights, but 'they rocked our tights off' sounds a bit weird, and rude at the very least. Ahem.
We spotted a very tanned looking Frankie Sandford in the bar (where we only had a lemonade, honest mum) with Mollie King and her beanie-clad boyfriend Andy Brown. When McFly were playing Frankie waved her hands around like a loon and sang every-single-word-to-every-single-song.
Awwww.

Dougie's sparkly bass had a light-up fretboard, and he bounced around all night with more energy than a lorry load of Red Bulls that's crashed into a stash of blue smarties.
Tom and Danny kept flirting with each other and running around each other and generally just LOVING eachother. It was great.
Harry kept pretty quiet at the back, wowing us all with biceps that are surely bigger than his head (from the measuring we did with our thumb and index finger while squinting from our seats) until he announced the prescence of a very special woman in the crowd - his mum! She was totally getting into it - giving Frankie a run for her money in the superfan stakes.
ALSO (yeah, it gets better) they played their cover of Taio Cruz's Dynamite, which they did in the Radio 1 Live Lounge not too long ago, and it was amazing. Here's the vid if you havent' heard it before.
They played old stuff, new stuff, and with our hearts.
Have any of you lot seen them recently? Or are you going to see them?
Did you see them in LadMag? If not you better go and get it QUICK before the new issue comes in!"
Sugarscape
"Well, this is embarrassing
We've all been very excited about seeing McFly's film thingy Nowhere Left To Run, partly because we find the boys' newly-developed muscles and sexy haircuts rather attractive, but mainly because 3am columnist Clemmie has been going on and on about her proper exciting cameo role.
Unfortunately, things haven't quite gone according to plan. Are McFly looking fit? Yes, that's definitely not a problem. However, when Clemmie watched this video back, she discovered that her big moment - which took 38 takes - had been dubbed, apparently because she didn't sound posh enough to be a newsreader.
Eek, that's gotta hurt.
"It was Dougie's fault," claims Tom from the band. "He's a perfectionist. That's the way he rolls. Actually, he's still fuming because at the end of our last video, they dubbed him! He was gutted."
Dougie himself confirmed this: "Apparently, I can't say the word f*** in a deep enough voice so they dubbed me at the end of the Party Girl video. My voice was 'too high pitched', they said. So when I heard Clemmie speaking in this one, I thought: 'This isn't fair. I want MY voice in it more. This is MY video!' So I recorded my voice over it."
All very amusing, Dougie, but Clemmie was crying at her desk earlier. But as long as you boys are alright, eh?"

"McFly mock Peter Andre and Katie Price duet
Oooh, those cheeky McFly boys! They’ve been mocking the musical offerings of poor love-split couple Peter Andre and Katie Price.
The band has been bleating out their 2006 cover of Disney’s A Whole New World in their gigs.
We caught up with the lads after his week’s show at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire and they were happy to taunt the pair.
‘We sang it for a laugh, it’s not part of the set,’ said singer Tom Fletcher.
‘Everyone was cracking up when Dougie pretended to introduce Katie and Peter. There’d be some shocked faces if they were our special guests!’"

"McFly are maturing but they're not there yet
IT'S hard to believe it but McFly are an established act by now, morphing from a boy band to a man band with their now heavily-tattooed selves and the imminent release of fifth studio album Above The Noise.
The London foursome's appearance at an oestrogen-filled Colston Hall was part of the Before The Noise tour. The show began with a black curtain falling and the band immediately playing the first single off the new album, Party Girl, mixing some electronica into their more usual rock sound.
Other new songs were sprinkled throughout the set. There was the country style of I Need A Woman, featuring a bass rift very similar to My Girl by The Temptations. The dreary I'll Be Your Man will not be a future classic, with many of the audience in the stalls sitting down when it was played.
The last song of the night and next single, Shine A Light, was greeted much more warmly. On the new album it is performed with Taio Cruz, and McFly were obviously taken with the R&B balladeer, covering his song Dynamite last night.
While their fans appreciated the need to showcase the new songs, the best receptions of the night came for the classics. Five Colours In Her Hair was given a funky makeover, while Song For The Radio, Star Girl and All About You are three examples of their ability to write great pop songs.
This gig felt like the emergence of a new McFly. But they are not fully there yet, and they would do very well not to completely leave their old selves behind.

"McFly's pop star fan club: Frankie drags the Saturdays girls out to see boyfriend Dougie's band at 'awesome' gig
In an industry filled with cat fights and feuds, it is nice to see two bands supporting each other. Of course, it helps when some of the members are dating.
Frankie Sandford and Mollie King of girl band The Saturdays took some time out from their own hectic schedule to support Frankie's boyfriend Dougie Poynter and his band McFly at their London gig last night.
The two groups are great friends, and are often seen hanging out together on tour and off duty.
After playing to crowds of screaming girls at the Shepherds Bush Empire, the boys were whisked outside to celebrate.
Dougie, 22, carried a bottle of white wine as he and 21-year-old Frankie left the venue.
He had earlier shown concern for fans queuingfor their concert in the cold weather. He wrote on Twitter: 'Too (sic) all the fans waiting out side. Your amazing and I hope you all keep warm and snug!!' Frankie was stylish in skinny jeans, T-shirt, a grey cardigan and purple suede boots, while her rocker beau wore on-trend double denim with a T-shirt and two-toned trainers.
Mollie, who was accompanied by her boyfriend Andy Brown, wore slashed leggings with a grey T-shirt and heels.
She clearly enjoyed herself, smiling broadly as she left through a back door and wrote on Twitter when she got home, 'Mcfly gig = awesome!!!!'
McFly drummer Harry Judd replied, 'glad you enjoyed it!!'
He added to his own 146,000 followers: 'Had too much fun tonight. Thank you so much to everyone that came!! Can't sleep..still buzzing x'"

"McFly put Harry's butt on their access all areas tour passes
Poor Harry - he's always the butt of McFly's jokes.
The boys put a pic of his rear end on their access all areas tour passes, so managers walked round Shepherd's Bush Empire with his bum round their necks. Cl-ass!
As Dougie's girlfriend, Frankie Sandford, sang along from the crowd, they debuted rockier material from new album Before The Noise, including singles Shine a Light and Party Girl.
Nice revamp, boys - especially you, Harry.

Aikaisemmin liikkui huhuja, että Danny kirjoittaisi biisejä Roger Sanchezin ja Girls Aloudin jäsenen Sarah Hardingin kanssa. Huhut osoittautuivat tosiksi, kun Sanchez itse tweettasi: "I am full of surprises! @Dannymcfly is a wicked songwriter and Sarah has a great vibe and energy- I like 2 cross genres and boundaries!" Sanchez oli myös eilen katsomassa McFlyta Lontoossa ja kommentoi keikkaa näin: "I don't think I've ever seen so many skinny jeans/vans 2gether in 1 room in my life! LOL! I'm good with the skinny jeans look, but it cracks me up when EVERYONE rocks the same look in the crowd! I'm not hatin tho!" Tässä kuva heistä kolmesta!

Portsmouth Today kirjotti pienen artikkelin McFlyn konsertista Southamptonissa:
"I like McFly. There, I've admitted it.
"I like McFly. There, I've admitted it.
Having seen this band a few times during their six-year career, I was already a convert to their cheerful guitar-pop, despite being both male and old enough to have a daughter who was a fan when they burst into the charts in 2004.
Opening a five-date mini-tour at Southampton Guildhall last night, they again showed that they're accomplished musicians but they now seem to want to show a harder edge with new album Above The Noise.
I can imagine that Springsteen fan Danny and co-writer Tom want to move on from their sweet pop image but I'm not sure that tattoos and wailing guitars are what their audience expects.
There were high spots in the set as they revisited some of their past glories but for me, too much of the evening was devoted to promoting the album.
Some of the early material reminded me of the Monkees and the Beach Boys in its catchy simplicity and sunny outlook.
Neither of those bands tried to mature into power pop or hard rock and I'm not sure that it suits McFly either.
However, they provide a high- energy show, their sense of fun is infectious and there were just enough sing-alongs to send their overheated fans home happy."

News Time: "McFly to be remixed by Roger Sanchez"
"McFly are going to be remixed by Roger Sanchez.
The ‘Song For the Radio’ group – who unveiled a new pop-dance influenced sound on their latest album ‘Above The Noise’ – met the dance superstar at a London hotel in August, and singer Danny Jones said he was instantly reminded of Dallas Austin, who produced tracks on their new LP.
He said: “Roger got in touch, so I met him when we were in America. He reminded me a lot of Dallas Austin but with a sentimental side. He’s got family and hangs out with his kids, whereas Dallas would be like ‘Wahey, let’s go out and get some birds.
“But he was a lot like Dallas, he wore his shades inside and stuff, he’s a really nice guy and he gave me some good advice and wants to do some McFly remixes and stuff, and he wants to help me with my dance project.”
The ‘Party Girl’ group – which also includes Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd - also said that when it comes to partying themselves, they prefer to hang out with each other rather than at clubs or showbiz events.
Dougie exclusively told BANG Showbiz: “We don’t really go to many celebrity parties. I think the majority of our parties are at home with our friends, or just us lot. They’re like the bad nights for hangovers. But we do sort of branch out to the clubs and have a crazy night every now and then.”"

Daily Record: "We don't worry about critical acceptance - we have fans who love our music, says McFly's Tom Fletcher" & Shine A Light varaus
"McFLY are back - and this time they don't care what their critics think.
It's been six years since the American-style punk pop of debut album Room On The 3rd Floor took them to No1 and made them the UK's top teen pin-ups.
And it's been two years since they independently released Radio:Active as a free newspaper giveaway.
It looked like the last desperate throw of the dice for the young band. Despite playing their own instruments and writing their own songs they weren't given credibility or the critical acceptance of other British bands.
This seemed all the more certain when singer and guitarist Danny Jones was one of the celebrities on Popstar To Opera Star, which included talent show veterans like Darius Campbell and Kym Marsh.
But they are back with their biggest-selling single in five years and a new urban sound that fits in perfectly with the hot groups of the moment like JLS - and without losing what made fans love them in the first place.
Tom Fletcher revealed: "I think our age was a big factor in people not taking us seriously in the past. But we are older and released an album independently which made people start to pay attention.
"We are past critical acceptance being an issue because we have come to accept it and think, 'Why worry about it when we have fans who love our music and love who we are, buy our music and come to see our shows.'
"The rest doesn't affect us now."
Of course, pasty-faced indie types or old rockers would probably love their favourite bands to have achieved as much as these young lads.
Tom, 25, Danny, 24, Dougie Poynter, 22, and Harry Judd, 24, are at an age when many bands start their careers but they've already have seven No1 singles and two No1 albums.
Their new publicity photos show them as bigger and buffer, especially Tom.
At the beginning, he was always looked on as the Gary Barlow of the band - the one who writes the songs and sings but is, well, a bit beefy.
So has Tom been to the gym for their new look?
He said: "I think it's just me growing up. I'm 25 now and I think you change a hell of a lot. I was 17 when we started."
McFly have grown up and are in control of their own destiny. After leaving Island and going it alone for Radio:Active, they have re-signed with the label but on a 50:50 basis. Not many bands, whether that's The Libertines or Oasis, could boast that kind of deal with a major.
Tom added: "It's hard to work out why we have stuck around.
"But we are best friends and we see so many bands that don't actually get on and don't like the music they play.
"We genuinely live and breathe McFly. It means everything to us."
The 50:50 deal puts the lads in an amazing place in British music and sets them up for a stunning comeback.
Next week, they kick off a short tour in Southampton and will play Edinburgh Playhouse a week on Sunday.
It will allow the band to showcase the songs from their new album Above The Noise.
It's out on November 15. Their single Shine A Light, which features Taio Cruz, is available to download on November 7.
Do they feel like they are making a comeback? "We've actually been touring the world for the last two years," corrected Tom.
"Although we've been out of the public eye in the UK for a while, we haven't been apart as a band."
The first taste of the new sounding McFly happened in Scotland at the pop festival In:Demand Live back in July. McFly played new single Party Girl and it went down a storm.
It went to No6 in the charts.
While it wasn't a No1, it was an big moment for the band.
Tom explained: "It was a landmark for us because it's one of the biggest selling singles we've had, certainly since I'll Be OK, which was a few albums ago.
"Although it was only No6, it was an incredible achievement for us.
"It was also the most downloads we've ever sold. In week one, we sold 40,000 copies and 31,000 were downloads."
McFly are moving with the times and have created a supersite called Super City which aims to offer fans, called Pioneers, exclusive products and first dibs on releases and tickets.
But when it But when it was launched on October 1, it crashed. "A bittersweet moment," admitted Tom.
"At one point there were about 62,000 people trying to sign up at the same time."
That's an impressive amount of fans wanting to be part of the McFly family. And it's costly - £6 a month or £40 a year.
Tom defended the amount.
He said: "I think they are getting way more than their money's worth. I'm not going to be apologetic for that.
"On iTunes you get an album for about £7.99 usually. If you sign up for our Super city site you'll pay six pounds and get the album free.
"And then there will be all the other stuff, exclusive music that we will never release anywhere else, anything we release physically will be released digitally through the site first, you'll get VIP entrance to gigs, you'll be the first people to get tickets and the best tickets and be invited to meet us for meet and greets."
Really it's everything a fan would want from a band but if everyone is joining the site and getting the album through that, won't they jeopardise getting future No1 albums?
Tom shrugged: "Chart positions have become less and less important.
"Unless you are No1, no one pays attention to whether you are No2 or No15 and no one really cares.
"We prefer people to sign up to our super site than give us a No1 single.
"It's incredible when you have a No1. It's a reflection of selling a lot and doing well but a fan willing to pay £40 a year or £6 a month shows that they are passionate about McFly and what we do.
"It means hell a lot more than someone just downloading the songs."
Of course, the music is at the heart of McFly and always has been - even way back in 2003 when they formed.
Tom had tried out for turn of the century pop punk trio Busted but lost out to Charlie Simpson.
However, the team behind Busted teamed him up with the trio's main songwriter James Bourne and Tom co-wrote eight of the 15 tracks on the group's second album A Present For Everyone.
Tom has actually written or co-written 10 No1 singles, seven with McFly and three of Busted's - Crashed The Wedding, Who's David and Thunderbirds.
During his time writing for Busted, the record label asked if he could film auditions for a new band V and there met Danny Jones. They clicked and had soon decided to form their own band recruiting Dougie and Harry through an advert in the NME.
The American-style pop punk of their early music has been radically changed for the new album and that's thanks to working with Dallas Austin, who has produced Prince, Madonna and Taio Cruz.
Tom said: "It's very different to what we've ever done before. It's taking the sounds of Michael Jackson, Prince and Madonna but without losing our pop melodies."
They had recorded another independent album two years ago in Australia after Radio:Active but they felt the 10 songs were just more of the same and they wanted to challenge themselves for their fifth album.
They demoed a new sound with synths. Universal asked to sign them again.
Tom said: "The sound is still pop. We are still a band and, although we are using synths, we aren't trying to sound like The Killers, we're more pop."
Fans will be happy to hear McFly look like they'll be around for the long haul.
McFly play Edinburgh Playhouse on October 24. Their new single Shine A Light ft Taio Cruz is out on November 7 and new album Above The Noise is out on November 15."

- Nowhere Left To Runin ensi-ilta on perjantaina 15.10.
:D Voit katsoa koko webchatin mcfly.comista.

Sugarscape: "McFly 'Shine A Light' with Taio Cruz!" & OMGmusic: "Taio Cruz praises "talented" McFly"
"McFly 'Shine A Light' with Taio Cruz!
And not a vampire in sight... phew.
You know how we love a bit of honesty, Sugarscapers, so let us make a little confession: we weren't massive fans of McFly's comeback single, Party Girl! We could see where they were going with it but, as much as we loved the new look, we were unsure about the new sound.
However, we've just listened to their new single, and at last we're detecting a note of old school McFly cheesiness combined with that aforementioned new sound. And to prove just how much they've changed, they've even roped in Taio Cruz to funk up the whole track.
"It was really easy to work with such talented musicians in the studio and we wrote a brand new song, Shine A Light, it's their new single."
When asked about the song's video (which you can watch here), Taio said: "The fans sort of rush in at the end. We're all performing in this massive cage and they're basically all around the cage, just getting as hyped as us.
"We do a lot of rock jumping, fist pumping. It's great."

Shine A Light is one of those songs we like to listen to and daydream that someone is singing it about us. We even like to re-enact our very own music videos, that normally end in us tripping over a hairbrush just as things get a bit enthusiastic and dramatic.
And whatever little video we've summoned in our imaginative heads, we'll shamefully admit that it's not a patch on the real deal from the boys and Mr. Cruz.
Complete with weird costumes and jumpy guitar-playing moments, check out the video for Shine A Light... We think this is a definite improvement since Party Girl, as McFly are being a little less try-hard, and looking a lot more like the boys we fell in love with."

"Taio Cruz Praises "Talented" McFly
Taio Cruz was impressed by how "talented" the guys in McFly are, after working with the band on their brand new single.
Earlier this year the Dynamite singer and producer collaborated with the group on their next release Shine A Light and now says of their time together: "Those guys are all really talented. They play all their own instruments and write their own songs, they're great. And whatever little video we've summoned in our imaginative heads, we'll shamefully admit that it's not a patch on the real deal from the boys and Mr. Cruz.

"McFly to attempt metal?

'Party Girl' singers McFly have changed their musical direction many times in their career, and reckon they could end up like ''Kiss or Slipknot'' in ten years time.
McFly reckon they will be like "Kiss or Slipknot" in ten years time.
The 'Party Girl' group have changed their sound dramatically over their career, going from guitar pop to rock and now having a dance music influenced sound; but singer and guitarist Danny Jones sees their long term future in either a glam rock or heavy metal.
He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I reckon in 10 or 15 years we'll either be like Kiss or Slipknot where we have to cover ourselves up in all sorts of makeup. That'll be the way."
His bandmate, frontman Tom Fletcher, is a little less sure, saying he likes to take each new album as it comes.
He said: "It's hard to tell how we'll be in 10 years time, this time two or three years ago we'd never have imagined this album to be like it is, and each time we go into the studio and record an album you never really know what it's going to come out like, or what influences we're going to be into."
McFly - which also includes bass player Dougie Poynter and drummer Harry - release their seventh album 'Above The Noise' in the UK on November 15."

Directlyrics - McFly (ft Taio Cruz) - Shine A Light (music video!)
"British band McFly have the premiered today the music video for "Shine A Light". The Taio Cruz-assisted tune serves as the official second single from McFly's upcoming studio album "Above the Noise" - in stores in the UK on November 15th. The CD's first single "Party Girl" did so-so on the Singles Chart in Britain debuting at #6 but then steadily-dropping places during the next weeks. So perfect timing for the second single. And this Taio Cruz collabo may do it for McFly! Taio seems to be Nicki Minaj's equivalent in Britain these days collaborations-wise. First in Tinchy Stryder's "Second Shot" and now on the new McFly song. "Shine A Light" sounds good, radio-friendly and Taio does his job in the chorus. However, I don't know what to think on this new McFly sound. It's very pop! and not so much of a rock edge. I wonder what true McFly fans think of this "going all commercial to stay relevant" thing. "Shine A Light" will be released in the UK on November 7th. Taio will give the lads their first Top 5 hit of this new era for sure."

Shine A Lightin musiikkivideo!

Lancashire Telegraph - "What's on: McFly in Manchester"
"What's on: McFly in Manchester
POP stars come and go but McFly, it seems, will be around forever.
Seven years ago the fresh-faced foursome burst on to the scene with their debut single, 5 Colours In Her Hair. Floppy of fringe and low-slung of trouser, they were every teenage girl’s dream.
Then, earlier this year, the boys returned with their latest single, Party Girl, taken from the soon-to-be-released fifth studio album.
Something had changed. The clothes were tighter. The bodies were fitter. Grown women swooned. Otherwise sane and responsible journalists in this very office spent hours staring wistfully at pictures of Harry, Tom, Dougie and, of course, our very own Danny.
“We had a pretty hardcore six weeks in LA during the recording process,” says Danny of the boys’ transformation.
“Then Harry was training for a marathon, so we trained with him. It was pretty tough.”
So is the former Thornleigh Salesian College student still keeping up with the regime?
“I’ve sort of given up now,” he admits sheepishly. “I’m back on the booze.”
You wonder when he would find the time. Not only are the boys incredibly hands-on when it comes to communicating with their fans — “We’re pretty keen on Twitter; our online following is so big it stretches around the world, so it’s the only way to keep up with everyone,” says Danny — but he is also working on a dance side project, Dirtiratz.
“It’s not really a solo project, it’s just something I wanted to play around with on the side,” he says. “It started as a hobby making dance music, but I decided to see how far it could go.”
He describes the material as sounding like Deadmau5, Swedish House Mafia or David Guetta, “but with me singing”.
He says: “What I want to do that would be quite cool would be to do the album launch through Supercity and then do some aftershow boutique parties after our gigs so people can come and have a dance.”
Ah yes, Supercity. McFly’s long-heralded, multi-layered new website that caused such hysteria among fans when it was launched that the server promptly crashed.
Danny says: “At the moment we’re switching over to bigger servers. I suppose it’s a good thing and a bad thing that it crashed.
"We were on such a high when we got 10,000 members in two hours, but then when it crashed we were all bummed out because we felt like we’d let everyone down — we felt awful.”
At one point there were 62,000 people trying to join at the same time, which Danny describes as “unbelievable”.
And his annoyance that the launch didn’t run smoothly seems personal, and genuine.
“It was totally underestimated,” he says, before trailing off.
“Well, we knew. It was a risk, but someone didn’t put a big enough bloody server up.”
He promises Supercity should be functioning again within the next week or two.
Meanwhile, the boys are preparing for five intimate gigs, including one at the Manchester Apollo, which they will use as a warm-up for their arena tour next year.
Danny says: “I love the Apollo — I’ve seen a lot of my idols there. We’ve done a lot of our small, sweaty, rocky shows there.”
There is also the release of the new single, Shine A Light, which Danny describes as “one of the best singles we’ve had”, and the album, Above The Noise.
Busy times for McFly, but they never lose sight of what, or rather who, is really important.
“We love our fans,” says Danny. “They’re so loyal. We write and perform so it’s real, it’s not like we’re just here for the money.
"But they’ve been with us for seven years and that’s fantastic.”
* McFly play the Apollo, in Manchester, on Saturday, October 23."

"McFly rock Leeds school
More than 100 youngsters screamed as the group walked onto the tiny stage in the school hall, where they opened with latest single Party Girl.
They went on to perform old favourite All About You, closing with their debut hit Five Colours in Her Hair.
In a chat with the YEP, Danny said: "It's good playing for the younger fans because they're not as judgmental as older audiences.
"They're a bit more understanding. If they're really young, they just stand up and dance around."
Tom added: "Adults are quite hard to impress but the young fans are always very sweet."
The guys also answered questions on stage from the youngsters, put to them by Radio Aire's breakfast show hosts JK and Joel.
It emerged that Tom's favourite food is pizza, Danny's favourite karaoke song is My Heart Will Go On, Harry was "mischievous" in school and Dougie thinks dating Frankie Sandford, a member of girl band The Saturdays, is "awesome".
The boys, who have a new album called Above the Noise out next month, said performing at schools like Cottingley was a "lot of fun".
Dougie told the YEP: "It's just nice to come and entertain people for the day. When this sort of thing happens in school, it's always really exciting for the kids. It's something a bit different."
Tom added: "Although we never had anything like this at our school. But firemen came in to do assemblies and that was exciting."
They also said they were enjoying the latest series of X Factor and tipped either Cher Lloyd, Matt Cardle or Nicolo Festa to win.
Harry said: "Cher is getting a lot of stick and I don't know why, it's really annoying me. People are having a go at her for mucking up her audition but she had a reason to sing badly – she was ill. Katie didn't have a reason."
Danny added: "Cher is just like Cheryl though. They have the same dress sense, the same tattoo and even half of the same name."
Ami, who presented the boys with a teddy bear and a thank you cookie after the gig, said: "It was everything I hoped it would be. They were lovely and it's been a brilliant day."

"McFly rock Leeds school
As a chart-topping band, they're more used to performing in front of crowds at Wembley Arena and Party in the Park. But now McFly can add a primary school in suburban Leeds to their list of gigs after playing at a packed-out school assembly.
The foursome – Harry Judd, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Tom Fletcher – performed three songs to pupils at Cottingley Primary School after pupil Ami Thorpe, 11, won a competition with 96.3 Radio Aire.More than 100 youngsters screamed as the group walked onto the tiny stage in the school hall, where they opened with latest single Party Girl.

Party Girl Britain's Next Top Modelissa
McFly esiintyi eilen Britain's Top Next Modelin (Brittien Huippumalli Haussa) finaalissa.

"Hey everyone,
So I just wanted to let you know the latest news on the Super City. There were big meetings today with all the key people that have built and run the Super City to isolate the problem so we can get rid of it! And you’ll all be pleased to know that we have found the weakest link in our team and given them the boot! So we now know exactly what needs to be done to get the Super City back up to speed (I wont bore you with the technical stuff) and the whole team is working double time this week to have it sorted.
Having said that, Danny, Dougie, Harry and myself are not going to open the gates to the Super City until we are 100% sure that it is ready and more than capable of coping with all you incredible Pioneers! We don’t think it’s fair to you guys. So we wont rush to get it open this week and instead will aim to have the gates open as early as we can next week.
I hope that’s ok with you and we feel it’s better to wait a few more days until we know it’s definitely ready for you all rather than rush and have the same thing happen as last Friday! This Super Site has taken 2 years to build and we have invested so much time and passion (not to mention money) into it so we feel extremely let down and disappointed in the people responsible for Fridays issues. But this site is ultimately our (McFLY’s) responsibility and we will never, EVER give you something we are not satisfied with.
If anyone wants a refund then we’ll put the details on mcfly.com tomorrow. Don’t forget that we’ll give everyone this month for free and also an extra gift from us to say sorry!
Until the gates are open again we will be putting up some new, exclusive content on mcfly.com so look out for it. We’ll keep you updated this week on the progress of the Super City.
Thanks SO much for your incredible patience and trust me, it will all be well worth the wait when we’re all finally in the city together.

BT Digital Music Awars -esiintyminen ja Shine A Light videoshoot - Suck My Pop
McFly esiintyi viime torstaina BT Digital Music Awardseissa Lontoossa, ja se tuli eilen Englannissa TV:stä. He soittivat Party Girlin, voit katsoa sen alta. (Alussa tulee aika paljon pölötystä, McFlyn esiintyminen alkaa n. ajassa 0.32)
Kuten varmaan Twitteristä luittekin, Tomin kitara hieman hajosi kesken biisin.. Tom parka :/ (näet/kuulet sen ajassa 1.58)
Suck My Pop -ohjelmassa tuli myös eilen pätkiä McFlyn Shine A Lightin musiikkivideon kuvauksista, videot alla.
(ääni ja kuva menee hieman eri aikaan, mutta ei kai se paljon haittaa :)

McFly have unveiled their new 'Super City' website & Floppy Dougie makes the cut
"McFly have unveiled their new 'Super City' website.
The band, whose new album is called Above The Noise, launched the site at 10am this morning.
The site immediately crashed due to high demand from fans and also became a trending topic on Twitter.
Dougie Poynter tweeted: "Ha ha! I knew this would happen! Will be up in a few mins. Sorry for the delay!"
After an hour-long delay, he added: "Right. news just in. because of the carnage anyone who signs up today will 100% become a pioneer!"
The group will give their new LP away exclusively through the site after fans pay a small subscription fee, which will also give them access to demos, unreleased material and live footage of the band's rehearsals.
The giveaway marks their second free album after 2008's Radio:ACTIVE was handed out with copies of the Daily Mail.
The band recently streamed the filming of their new music video live on their official website."
Digital Spy
"Floppy Dougie makes the cut
DOUGIE POYNTER is taking drastic measures to change his appearance - to stop comparisons with girlfriend FRANKIE SANDFORD.
The MCFLY star recently joked that the couple were merging into one after his SATURDAYS partner splashed out on a matching floppy-fringed hairdo.
He told me: "We're a bit like JEDWARD."
So it came as no surprise he's gearing up for the chop (not to be mistaken for castration) when I caught up with Dougie and his bandmates at last night's BT Digital Music Awards 2010.
The bassist said: "I'm going to have something really wild and radical done. The fringe is going. I might just get it all shaved off.
"Whatever I go for, it will be very different to Frankie's hair."
Only until her next trip to the salon, I suspect."

Jos et kuitenkaan suostu odottamaan, että he saavat sivuston auki, maanantaina 4. lokakuuta he kertovat, miten saat rahasi takaisin. Kaikki on kuitenkin hoidossa - McFlylla on tarkat tiedot kaikista liittyneistä, joten jokainen maksanut on 100% varmasti pioneer.
Alla on kaikki videot.
Tässä yksi artikkeli 3am:in sivuilta:
"Actual proper serious warning: this McFly interview is pure disgusting filth
We don't really know what came over us when we met McFly at the BT Digital Music Awards - it's all a bit of a blur. We were so excited to meet the boys, or men now, it would seem - that we pretty much blacked out for the entire interview, with absolute filth clouding our minds and forcing us to think the most obscene thoughts.
Highly distracting and unprofessional, you'll have to agree. It's just very difficult to concentrate on McFly's new single and website when all you can think about is biting Harry's bottom lip.
And to help you understand how it feels to be us, we've offered you lot an insight into what goes through our head when we're interviewing fit celebrities.
Watch the video above to see McFly chatting about sex, porn and, um, farting. OR, use the sophisticated hearing skills you've got in your ears to tune them out and listen to our most explicit thoughts instead.
Sorry mum.
And finally, please note: we do not really condone having unprotected sex with McFly - just don't tell them if you're using JLS-branded condoms." Voit katsoa videon täältä.
