Here's to an amazing 2010 and to an even better 2011!! :)

McFly Fearne Cottonin pikkujouluissa
"Fearne Cotton (and her mum) host McFly at a Radio 1 Christmas party

I’VE always thought McFly look like the type of boys I’d like to take home to meet my mum. And so, it seems, does Fearne Cotton.
She even went a step further by letting her mum interview the boys, including Tom, or “Tim” as she called him, for a Radio 1 live show yesterday. Aaah."
Daily Mirror
"Why didn’t McFly come to our Christmas party bearing small gingerbread treats?

Probably because we’re not Fearne Cotton, but still, it would have been nice of them to offer. At least send the small gingerbread treats for us to obliterate.
Fearne was hosting a Christmas party at her house in London this morning, with the whole thing being broadcast on Radio 1 (show off). And who turned up? Holly Willoughby, random Radio 1 DJs we can't be arsed to name and only bloody McFly!
Tom Fletcher tweeted this morning: “At Fearne's place. Going to be singing a little festive number in a bit but we're minus Danny and Dougie has bottled it so I'm solo!”
We’ll never bottle it and leave you solo, Tom. Sure, that’s a cheesy line, but anything for a go on Tom."

"Harry McFly

McFly have come back to find the charts flooded with lad totty. What’s a boyband to do? Beef up, get a new sound and drop our pants, says Harry Judd…
Where on earth have you guys been?
“The new album took two years to make. We hooked up with American mega-producer Dallas Austin and wrote some tracks with Taio Cruz. We are still very ambitious and our main goal is to achieve longevity and stay relevant.”
Will that be tough when there are so many new bands?
“While we were away, JLS and The Wanted appeared and we were like: ‘Oh My God, we’ve got competition!’ But we write and play all our own music, and there’s only Take That who do that. And we plan to be around as long as them!”
Did you all buff up to take on JLS?
[Laughs.] “We wanted to come back sounding and looking amazing. There’s no point beating round the bush – we want to look great. We don’t want JLS to make us look scrawny!”
Your bum sure seems to be appearing everywhere!
“Ah yes! [Laughs.] It just keeps happening when there are cameras or webcams! We are best mates and get very immature and muck around. Our poor managers keep going: ‘Enough with the bums out all the time!’ But we can’t stop.”
Isn’t it supply and demand?
“Exactly! Even our recent tour VIP passes had pictures of my naked arse, which we found hilarious!”
So what will you do if you hit No.1 again?
“It’s becoming a bit of a trend for male stars to strip, but we’ve already taken it pretty far. What’s left? I don’t think I could put my fans through a full frontal…”
McFly’s new album, Above The Noise, is out now."

Smile High Clubin Ed ja Luke haastattelivat McFlyta Jingle Bell Ballissa:
Ja haluaisin vielä toivottaa Harrylle hyvää 25-vuotissyntymäpäivää! :)

"McFly come to the Liverpool ECHO Arena in March 2011
Who are they? Four-piece boyband, now not so boyish, made up of Tom Fletcher (lead vocals and guitar), Danny Jones (lead vocals and guitar), Dougie Poynter (backing vocals and bass guitar) and Harry Judd (drums).
What are they famous for? Catchy pop rock and a bit of an eye for the ladies.
Distinguishing features? Infectious tunes and loads of cheeky charm, they all look distinctly different, too, so there’s one for each type of girl fan.
Career high? McFly's debut album, Room on the 3rd Floor, debuted at number 1 in the UK, making them the youngest band ever to achieve this – a title taken from The Beatles. They have had 18 consecutive top 20 singles, seven of which reached number 1in the UK charts.
Career low? Appearing in the teen comedy film, Just My Luck, starring Lindsay Lohan, in 2006.
Significant others? Dougie recently split from The Saturdays’ Frankie Sandford, and Harry was rumoured to have had a fling with Lindsay Lohan during filming together.
Not to be confused with? Busted, who helped launch McFly by inviting them on tour, in March, 2004. Tom Fletcher originally auditioned for Busted, but lost out to Charlie Simpson.
They say? “We just didn’t have any fear,” says singer Tom Fletcher, of their new album Above The Noise, including the hit single Shine A Light with Taio Cruz. “We learnt to completely rethink what McFly could be.”
Interesting fact? All About You/You've Got a Friend has been featured as the ending theme for the South Korean variety show, Invincible Youth, since the show's original pilot episode in October, 2009.
McFLY play the ECHO Arena on March 29, 2011."

"McFly back in Brum for their 'biggest ever' tour
FOLLOWING a string of sold-out intimate gigs to celebrate the release of their fifth studio album, Britain's biggest boyband is back with their biggest ever UK tour.
Returning to the live stage for their first arena tour in two years, McFly have announced a string of gig dates – including a show at Birmingham's LG Arena.
The lads will be performing in the second city next spring, on March 30.
The band announced their forthcoming LG gig date while on stage at the BRMB Live 2010 sold-out concert, which took place at the venue last month.
Fresh from performing sold-out exclusive UK dates in October to preview the band's new album Above The Noise, McFly are returning to what they know – playing to huge audiences in sold-out arenas.
Having recently conquered colossal venues around the world, McFly are excited to return and showcase their infectious and soulful electro-pop sound.
Two years in the making, McFly recently launched the ground-breaking Super City.
The website provides fans with unrivalled access to the band. It has citizens rather than visitors, where fans can subscribe to access further content including albums, demos and web-chats.
A week's free access to Super City comes with each ticket purchase via email.
As well as Super City, November saw the release of McFly's fifth record Above The Noise, and another top five single Shine A Light, with UK hit-maker Taio Cruz.
With a fan base that now stretches around the world and having recently entered a joint venture with their original major label home, McFly have succeeded beyond their own expectations.
"We just didn't have any fear," says singer Tom Fletcher. "We learnt to completely rethink what McFly could be."
Tickets for the show are on sale now priced £14 and £28.50 (plus booking and transaction fee).

"Hollyoaks Music Show is to return to T4 and 4Music for a Christmas special.
The hour long episode will be filmed ‘as live’ and feature performances from acts including Jason Derulo, McFly, Alexis Jordan, The Wanted and Tinchy Stryder.
Earlier this year, the show gave No.1 selling artists Jason Derulo and The Wanted their first British TV appearances and this year both acts have gone on to storm the international charts.
As part of the ad-fund deal, fashion brand Matalan, has secured title sponsorship of the programme."

"Jeff Bridges, McFly and others talk to us at the Tron: Legacy premiere!
Thanks to our friends at Wrigley's 5 gum, we managed to squeeze ourselves on to the red blue carpet for last night's UK premiere of Tron: Legacy. WE MET JEFF BRIDGES!
Jeff was obviously utterly amazing (the full Jeff interview is below) considering it was colder than Gillian McKeith's crotch.
As well as Jeff, we bumped into McFly who had a few things to say about our recent review of their album, Shayne Ward looking like a bit if a muscle Mary, Alison Goldfrapp who got jiggy with Matt and a whole bunch of others."

"Soldier, 26, teams up with McFly in Christmas No1 bid
A SOLDIER from South Devon is tipped for a Christmas number one after penning his debut single while posted in Afghanistan — and recording it with pop band McFly.
Xander Rawlins, 26 and from Kingswear, is a captain in the Grenadier Guards. He has written 1,000 Miles Apart, which is about leaving loved ones behind.
Xander was in charge of 30 men in Afghanistan and the video for his song shows the soldiers during their downtime.
The proceeds of the record will go to two charities Combat Stress and The Soldier's Charity.
Xander has been working on his song with members of the pop band McFly at their London studio. He met McFly when he played at the Troubadour music venue in London a couple of years ago with his band Rawlins.
Xander's band mates, brother Digby, 24, and pal Sam Phillips of Hope Cove, are also playing on the new single alongside a host of other professional musicians.
While serving in Afghanistan, Xander entertained the troops in the evening playing his guitar, a ukulele and a cornet.
The single is about soldiers leaving their loved ones at Christmas, something he knows a lot about, having worked away for the last four festive seasons. This year he will be on guard at Windsor Castle.
Proud parents Richard and Jayne, of Beacon Road, say the music industry is already very positive about Xander's song and they believe it has every chance of topping the charts this Christmas.
Jayne said: "He's always made a lot of noise and he's a very jolly, happy chap who loves singing and acting, so I'm not surprised at all that he's done this.
"I am quite surprised at how it has been received, which is very well so far and I'm very pleased for him because he enjoys it and he's doing something he always wanted to do."
"I think the single is excellent," Richard added.
"You would really need a music industry insider to judge whether it will reach number one.
"Like all these things, if it captures the public's imagination and they lock on to it's heartfelt feelings there's no reason why it shouldn't get there."
Xander is currently working on his first album, which he started writing whilst out in Afghanistan.
He's leaving the army next year and is in talks with various record labels with a view to carving out a career in the music industry.
The single 1,000 Miles Apart is due to be released on Monday December 13."

"McFly star helps bandmate get over split with member of Saturdays
CARING McFly star Tom Fletcher is helping bandmate Dougie Poynter get over his split with Saturdays gal Frankie Sandford – by putting him up.
Dougie and Frankie called it quits for the second time last month. And the bass guitarist is getting all the support he needs from his mates.
Tom revealed: “Dougie has been staying at my house and is my new roommate. We’ve not lived with one another for four years so it’s interesting.
“He’s cleared the fridge of booze but he’s very good and cleans up his own pizza boxes.
“He’s bunking up and I’m keeping him warm on a cold night. That’s what friends are for.”
Speaking at the Cash For Kids 30th anniversary bash in Glasgow, Tom and fellow McFly star Danny Jones insisted their relationship with The Saturdays – who flew north from London with them yesterday – hasn’t soured.
Danny told us: “We saw them on the plane and said hello. It’s not a problem for us.”
Half the members of McFly got to the bash in the Hilton with The Saturdays on time, despite being delayed on the plane from London.
Tom explained: “We got stuck on the plane in Glasgow because the steps were frozen. We were stuck on the tarmac for 40 minutes.”
The boys were hoping to catch a flight from Edinburgh to Dublin to catch up with the rest of the band, before heading for Liverpool.
But they admitted they’ve already had a few scares in the snow.
The lads said: “We’ve been very lucky.
“We were on the fast lane on the motorway with no lights on and saw a horse trailer abandoned at the side that had separated from its vehicle.”
They revealed they wont be taking it too easy over the festive season and are looking forward to touring next year. Danny said: “Our new year resolution is to get fat and wear layers as well.
“In the summer we’ve got to worry as there’s more skin on show.
“Tickets for our tour are going on sale now and our shows always kick a**.
“The last tour we flew over the audience and we’d like to do it again.”

Shine a Light soitettiin YleX:llä!!!
YleX soitti Shine a Lightin tänään kuten he lupasivat!
And if there are any non-Finnish people reading this, our mission to get McFly played in Finland succeeded! They didn't play All About You last week because they didn't have it, but they played Shine a Light today. If you want to listen to the audio of it, you can download it here. It's not the best quality and it's not an mp3 file (it's AMR-audio, it should work on QuickTime Player at least) but it's better than nothing, right? Thank you for your support. ♥

McFlyta YleX:llä ja artikkeli
Jos seuraatte minua Twitterissä, tiedättekin jo tästä - sain YleX:ltä sähköpostia eilen. He sanoivat, että syy, miksi he eivät soittaneet All Abou Youta viime perjantaina, on se, että heillä ei yksinkertaisesti ole sitä. He antoivat kuitenkin listan kappaleista, jotka heillä on erinäisillä kokoelmalevyillä: Shine A Light, Party Girl, Transylvania, Do Ya, Lies ja One For the Radio. Joka tapauksessa, he antoivat minun valita yhden kappaleen, jonka he soittavat perjantaina klo 18.00-20.00. Valitsin Shine A Lightin! Toivottavasti valintani miellyttää teitä kaikkia jotka toivoitte McFlyta. Muistakaa kuunnella perjantaina! :)
Super Cityssä alkoi tänään pioneer pre-sale ensi kiertueelle, ja se jatkuu tänään klo 20.00 asti (Suomen aikaa), muistakaa siis ostaa lippunne jos olette Englantiin menossa McFlyta katsomaan! :)
"McFly tour star 'petrified' of dancing
Those with McFly tickets to the band's upcoming tour are unlikely to see Harry Judd busting out any dance moves.
The drummer has revealed he found his recent dancing experience on a BBC Children in Need special "petrifying".
Harry took on The Saturdays singer Rochelle Wiseman for a special edition of Strictly Come Dancing for the charity event last week.
"I had five days of rehearsals and I'm dancing on Strictly Come Dancing with Ola Jordan - it was probably the most petrifying thing I've ever done in my life," he told the Press Association.
"It's very scary but it's for a great cause. I'm very versatile, aren't I? Drummer, dancer, actor..."
The band's Danny Jones added: "We got a lot of enjoyment out of watching him rehearse."
Starting at the Trent FM Arena in Nottingham on March 12th, the band are to play at a number of arena venues around the country as part of a new UK tour, before winding things up at London's Wembley Arena on April 1st."
