"McFly come to the Liverpool ECHO Arena in March 2011
Who are they? Four-piece boyband, now not so boyish, made up of Tom Fletcher (lead vocals and guitar), Danny Jones (lead vocals and guitar), Dougie Poynter (backing vocals and bass guitar) and Harry Judd (drums).
What are they famous for? Catchy pop rock and a bit of an eye for the ladies.
Distinguishing features? Infectious tunes and loads of cheeky charm, they all look distinctly different, too, so there’s one for each type of girl fan.
Career high? McFly's debut album, Room on the 3rd Floor, debuted at number 1 in the UK, making them the youngest band ever to achieve this – a title taken from The Beatles. They have had 18 consecutive top 20 singles, seven of which reached number 1in the UK charts.
Career low? Appearing in the teen comedy film, Just My Luck, starring Lindsay Lohan, in 2006.
Significant others? Dougie recently split from The Saturdays’ Frankie Sandford, and Harry was rumoured to have had a fling with Lindsay Lohan during filming together.
Not to be confused with? Busted, who helped launch McFly by inviting them on tour, in March, 2004. Tom Fletcher originally auditioned for Busted, but lost out to Charlie Simpson.
They say? “We just didn’t have any fear,” says singer Tom Fletcher, of their new album Above The Noise, including the hit single Shine A Light with Taio Cruz. “We learnt to completely rethink what McFly could be.”
Interesting fact? All About You/You've Got a Friend has been featured as the ending theme for the South Korean variety show, Invincible Youth, since the show's original pilot episode in October, 2009.

"McFly back in Brum for their 'biggest ever' tour
FOLLOWING a string of sold-out intimate gigs to celebrate the release of their fifth studio album, Britain's biggest boyband is back with their biggest ever UK tour.
Returning to the live stage for their first arena tour in two years, McFly have announced a string of gig dates – including a show at Birmingham's LG Arena.
The lads will be performing in the second city next spring, on March 30.
The band announced their forthcoming LG gig date while on stage at the BRMB Live 2010 sold-out concert, which took place at the venue last month.
Fresh from performing sold-out exclusive UK dates in October to preview the band's new album Above The Noise, McFly are returning to what they know – playing to huge audiences in sold-out arenas.
Having recently conquered colossal venues around the world, McFly are excited to return and showcase their infectious and soulful electro-pop sound.
Two years in the making, McFly recently launched the ground-breaking Super City.
The website provides fans with unrivalled access to the band. It has citizens rather than visitors, where fans can subscribe to access further content including albums, demos and web-chats.
A week's free access to Super City comes with each ticket purchase via email.
As well as Super City, November saw the release of McFly's fifth record Above The Noise, and another top five single Shine A Light, with UK hit-maker Taio Cruz.
With a fan base that now stretches around the world and having recently entered a joint venture with their original major label home, McFly have succeeded beyond their own expectations.
"We just didn't have any fear," says singer Tom Fletcher. "We learnt to completely rethink what McFly could be."
Tickets for the show are on sale now priced £14 and £28.50 (plus booking and transaction fee).

"Hollyoaks Music Show is to return to T4 and 4Music for a Christmas special.
The hour long episode will be filmed ‘as live’ and feature performances from acts including Jason Derulo, McFly, Alexis Jordan, The Wanted and Tinchy Stryder.
Earlier this year, the show gave No.1 selling artists Jason Derulo and The Wanted their first British TV appearances and this year both acts have gone on to storm the international charts.
As part of the ad-fund deal, fashion brand Matalan, has secured title sponsorship of the programme."

"Jeff Bridges, McFly and others talk to us at the Tron: Legacy premiere!
Thanks to our friends at Wrigley's 5 gum, we managed to squeeze ourselves on to the red blue carpet for last night's UK premiere of Tron: Legacy. WE MET JEFF BRIDGES!
Jeff was obviously utterly amazing (the full Jeff interview is below) considering it was colder than Gillian McKeith's crotch.
As well as Jeff, we bumped into McFly who had a few things to say about our recent review of their album, Shayne Ward looking like a bit if a muscle Mary, Alison Goldfrapp who got jiggy with Matt and a whole bunch of others."
