"McFly’s Tom Fletcher Plays for £50,000 on “The Cube"
ITV’s The Cube came back for a special episode this past weekend. A member of the band McFly, Tom Fletcher, stepped inside The Cube and played for charity. For essentially most of America who has no idea who they are, from what I gather, McFly seems a bit like the Jonas Brothers of England. They were also on our equivalent, Minute to Win It, and we saw how that went over. Having McFly on The Cube went over pretty much the same there. However, it was a great episode and in our constant desire to shove this amazing show down your throat we have to show you some.
Our clip begins as Tom plays one of the hardest games on The Cube, “Sidetrack” for £50,000. We’ve seen the game take tens of thousands from contestants before. However, will The Cube take Tom’s money, or can he get the £50,000 for charity? Check it and the rest of the clip out below.

"McFly hits Wrexham
The McFly boys are set to hit Wrexham town centre on Saturday 18th June as a preview of their appearance at this year’s Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod. Locals are invited to get up close and personal with life-like cardboard cut-outs of Danny, Harry, Dougie and Tom and receive a special offer on concert tickets.
They are one of the biggest boy bands in the UK and a few weeks before they are due to headline the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod closing concert, McFly will drop by Wrexham town centre.
Shoppers in Queen Square, Wrexham, will be given the chance to have their picture with the rock foursome in their cardboard guise between 11.00am and 2.00pm.
For those who capture themselves on camera with Danny, Harry, Dougie and Tom and upload it to the LIME facebook page, there’s a special offer available for the concert. A deal of four McFly tickets for the price of three will be available for those who upload their pictures. This offer can be claimed by phoning the ticket hotline on 01978 862001.
McFly join a host of established stars scheduled to appear at this year’s Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod. They include Lulu, Russell Watson, Julian Lloyd Webber, Ruthie Henshall, Rick Astley, Faryl Smith and Kiki Dee.

We’re not sure why Tom Fletcher decided to lean in to give his bandmate Danny Jones a damn good tonguing over the weekend while they were performing at Alton Towers, but he did and Danny, it seems, wasn’t too keen on reciprocating because he turned his head away from Tom’s persistent tongue as it was being thrust at him.
How very rude, although perhaps he was just perturbed from a full-on snog by Tom’s new moustache which, let’s be honest, is enough to put anyone off.
Anyway elsewhere at Alton Towers yesterday we also spotted The Saturdays, JLS and Eliza Doolittle performing as well. None of them did anything homoerotic. Just in case you were wondering."

The drummer of Britain’s biggest pop-rock band talks about the things he couldn’t do without on his rider on tour.
Beer or coffee? Beer.
Crisps or popcorn? Crisps.
Treats from home or local cuisine? Local cuisine. You have got to experience the culture of where you are. It is a lot of fun being taken to nice restaurants but then again, sometimes you do miss Marmite. So I always take some Marmite with me.
Bed at midnight or party ‘til 5am? Preferably bed before midnight. It would have been different in the past but at the moment it is definintely bed before midnight.
Alarm clock or woken by friends? Alarm clock please.
Cards or monopoly? I think I would have to say cards because you can play more games and it is easier to carry.
DVD or computer game? DVD.
What is the ultimate item you could take on your rider? I would take a personal masseuse. Touring for a couple of months at a time means your shoulders get tight. It would be good to get on the bus and get a rub down.

British teen pop/rock band, McFly, is all grown up and they have a thing or two to say about their new sound, new collaborations, and the rock legends that we love.
McFly traveled to Argentina over the weekend to play for their Latin American fans and on the way had a quick chat with Terra. The guys have matured since their past albums, but that didn't stop them from throwing a few cheap shots at Sir Paul McCartney.
'We were in Rio actually on that day and we had to leave to go back to Sao Paolo. Unfortunately, we missed the concert, but we watched online and it's incredible to hear [Paul McCartney] sing the classic Beatles songs.
