"Arg off TOWIE just told us that Dougie off McFly is going into I’m A Celebrity with his BFF Mark

This afternoon, we trotted along to Essex to see Mark Wright for chat (it always sounds lame when reporters refer to set up interviews as ‘chats’ - but that is essentially what happened) before he flies off to Australia to join I’m A Celebrity. We thought we were just meeting Mark at his mate Kenzie’s gym where he’s trying to get as buff as possible with ON protein shakes before he heads to the jungle. But who happened to turn up? Arg, of course.
Keen to spend as much time as he can with his BFF before he flies to the other side of the world, Arg rocked up (wearing no shoes, bizarrely) and, clearly forgetting we were in the room, started blurting out how he’d just heard that Dougie off McFly would be joining Mark in the jungle.
“Guess what? I’ve just been told that Dougie is definitely going to be on I’m A Celebrity”, said Arg.
“No way!” replied Mark, “Swear on your mother’s life that Dougie is going in?”
“I swear! He is!” Arg insisted, before realising he probably should have kept his gob shut with a 3am.co.uk reporter in the room.
Isn’t that exciting? Our third favourite member of McFly going off the jungle to eat fish eyeballs and fondle marsupial testicles! We’re quite surprised to hear this, because Dougie is a very quiet chap, but he’s had a tough year – including a split from Frankie Saturdays and subsequent spell in rehab – so it’ll be a good experience for him. We bet the public will love him too – every time we’ve met him (which is many - he follows our personal account on Twitter – it’s no big deal) he has been awfully sweet, extremely funny and pretty cheeky. The perfect make-up of an I’m A Celebrity winner, we reckon.
Following Arg’s revelation, Mark asked us if we knew whether Dougie would be going into the jungle, because even he doesn’t have the full line-up yet. We informed him that we didn’t know for sure, but reckoned Imogen Thomas would definitely be going in. At this point, Mark rolled his eyes and did a big old tut – before insisting the pair wouldn’t be getting it on in the jungle.
We don’t believe him one bit – he will definitely be getting it on with Imogen in the jungle. There’s no way that that won’t happen.
In other news, Arg is amazing at skipping. Like actually amazing. No, more amazing than you’re thinking. We’ve got it all on video, so come back tomorrow when our video goblins have finished doing technical things to it."

"Strictly Come Dancing's Harry Judd ready for wedding bells
He's landing perfect tens on the dance floor but Strictly Come Dancing star Harry Judd has hinted he's ready to pop the question to his long-term lover and put his fancy footwork to the test.
The McFly star, who lives with girlfriend of six years Izzy Johnston, admitted he has no excuse ‘not to do a good first dance’ after impressing on the BBC1 show.
The drummer revealed Johnston convinced him to sign up for the series before his bandmates piled the pressure on as well.
‘My girlfriend was the one that got me to do it,’ the 26-year-old said.
‘And Tom [Fletcher, from McFly] particularly wanted me to do it because he loves TV.’
Despite leading the pack, Judd says each week is ‘terrifying’, confessing he’s at breaking point over this weekend’s task.
He told This Morning: ‘I’m doing the samba this week – I’m struggling to pronounce it properly, let alone dance it.’
He’s not winning any sympathy, though, particularly from his dance partner Aliona Vilani, 27.
‘I was at breaking point this week,’ he said.
‘But the more I stress, the more Aliona laughs – she’s an amazing teacher."

"'Strictly Come Dancing' Harry Judd: 'Aliona nicknamed me The Sloth'
McFly's Harry Judd has been given the nickname The Sloth by his Strictly partner Aliona Vilani.
The boyband drummer was told that he resembled the creature during training sessions for the reality show.
During filmed footage of the pair's rehearsals, Vilani has been shown teasing the musician with taunts of "come on, sloth".
"The more frustrated I get, the more hilarious Aliona finds it," Judd told It Takes Two. "And the more the angry I get, the more I look like a sloth apparently."
Judd and Vilani are performing a samba to a Stevie Wonder song this weekend.
The duo's current highest score of the series came with their waltz in week four, which earned them 35 points."

Danny, who was born in Bolton and is a former Thornleigh Salesian College pupil, said: “I really can’t wait to return to Bolton and switch on the Christmas lights.
“I was born and brought up here and have some great memories of spending Christmas in the town with my family.
“It’s a real honour to be asked to attend the big switch-on as I know it’s a huge event in the festive calendar.
“I’m looking forward to seeing everyone on November 24.”
He will be joined on stage by Mayor of Bolton, Cllr Noel Spencer, and Father Christmas.
There will be entertainment led by Real Radio’s Ditchy and Salty and music from local singer Gemma Louise Doyle and X Factor contestants Kendro.
Gandini light juggling show will perform and there will be an appearance by the Albert Halls panto cast, Goldilocks and the Three Amazing Bears.
Players from Bolton Wanderers will also make an appearance, along with Lofty the Lion, and the traditional Bolton Christmas parade will weave its way through the town centre.
Leader of Bolton Council, Cllr Cliff Morris, said: “We’re really pleased to be able to welcome Danny Jones to Bolton’s Christmas Lights switchon and thrilled he has agreed to flick the switch for us this year.

The switch on is sponsored by Langley Interiors, of Bolton.
Peter Langley said: “We have worked with the council on other projects and were honoured when they asked us if we would like to sponsor the Bolton Christmas Lights Switch on.”

"Uppingham School supports former pupil Harry Judd on Strictly Come Dancing
YOUNGSTERS and staff at a Rutland school are getting behind a former pupil who is dancing his way to success on national television.
Harry Judd, 25, who is a former pupil at Uppingham School and is the drummer in multi-award winning band McFly is one of this year’s contestants on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.
He and his dance partner Aliona Vilani have survived four weeks of the show and have received good marks for their performances.
So far they have clocked 28 points out of a possible 40 for the cha-cha-cha, 27 for the foxtrot, 33 for the jive and 35 for the waltz.
There’s been plenty of support for the pairing at Uppingham School – and staff and pupils are tuning in to find out how he gets on.
Marketing officer Su Statham said: “We have been watching every week and phoning in to vote for him.
“At the moment he seems like he might be one of the favourites to win.
“If he survives a few more weeks then we might start having Strictly Come Dancing parties and if he gets into the final we would love to go down to the show to support him.”
Harry, who is from Chelmesford in Essex, first hit the headlines when McFly stormed the pop charts with their first single “Five Colours In Her Hair” in 2004.
He auditioned for the band when he was a boarding pupil at Fircroft in London Road, Uppingham, after seeing an advert in NME magazine.
Despite forgetting his drumsticks, Harry went on to become a member of McFly. The band has clocked up 18 consecutive top 20 singles, seven of which reached number one in the UK, and scooped a Brit Award for Best Pop Act.
Harry said: “I love a challenge and this will certainly be the biggest challenge I’ve taken on.
“It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity that I couldn’t turn down.”
Other competitors in this year’s competition include Lulu, Jason Donovan and Robbie Savage.
It is presented by Sir Bruce Forsythe, Tess Daly. One couple is voted off the show each week.
The next episode is on BBC One tonight at 6.25pm."
