McFly-rintamalla on nyt hieman hiljaista, kun bändi oli kirjoittamisreissullaan. Muutaman artikkelin kuitenkin löysin:
"Saturday 9th June - McFly
Newmarket Racecourses is delighted to confirm rumours that the mighty McFly will be playing at the July Course on Saturday 9th June.
Famed for hit singles 'It's All About You', 'Shine A Light' and 'Five Colours in Her Hair', McFly will bring their lively rock pop to Newmarket after a fantastic afternoon's racing.
We're very excited to be performing at Newmarket Racecourses this summer," said Harry Judd, "We always enjoy playing racecourses and we are expecting a great atmosphere, so we're really looking forward to it!"
McFly truly established their position as the nation's favourite band when two of the boys became champions in the UK's biggest TV shows. In December, Dougie Poynter was crowned king of the jungle in 'I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here', then Harry was crowned champion of Strictly Come Dancing 2011. He impressed the judging panel and won the hearts of the nation as he glided across the dance floor with Aliona.
Adrian Simpson, Sales and Marketing Director for Newmarket Racecourses, said: "I am thrilled to confirm McFly will be playing at one of our Summer Saturdays Live".
"This event is an incredible opportunity for families to come along and enjoy an afternoon of racing, followed by an open air concert with a top British band".
"With McFly bringing their infectious music to Newmarket this really will be a fun filled raceday not to be missed."
"We are expecting this to be a sell out summer event, so we recommend that you buy your tickets early, so that you don't miss out. "
The day kicks off at approximately 11am with great horseracing and will then be followed by an early evening performance from McFly."

"McFly’s stay on Anglesey to write new material
MEMBERS of one of the UK’s most popular bands used Anglesey’s coastline as inspiration for their new material.
Three of pop-rock band McFly reportedly stayed in Rhoscolyn over the weekend to begin writing new songs for their next album. They have enjoyed chart hits with songs such as It’s All About You and Obviously.
Dougie Poynter, Tom Fletcher and Danny Jones were spotted in Tesco Holyhead by several lucky shoppers on Friday afternoon.
The group kept fans up to date by posting photos and comments on Twitter throughout their trip.
This is not the first time a successful UK band has taken advantage of the island’s shoreline recently: in November, boyband One Direction visited Trearddur Bay, Rhosneigr and Aberffraw to film footage which would be used during their concerts.
Over the weekend, lead singer Tom posted that the writing process was “going well”, stating: “Up til 4am working on songs. Late nights, late starts. We’re on the creative time zone.
“I love my job. It’s 1am, we’re making awesome music whilst eating double stuffed Oreos dunked in Galaxy milkshake.”
However, drummer Harry Judd was unable to join his bandmates as he had other commitments.
Harry, who was recently crowned Strictly Come Dancing Champion 2011, spoke of his bandmates’ Anglesey trip during a television appearance over the weekend.
Appearing on BBC magazine show, Something for the Weekend on Sunday, he said: “The other three are away at the moment in Wales doing a little writing trip, but because I’ve got Strictly tour rehearsals tomorrow, I couldn’t join them.”
He said the other three were “writing some new stuff” and agreed the band was stronger than ever following a break, which saw himself and his fellow bandmate winning two popular reality TV shows: Dougie was named King of the Jungle in ITV1’s I’m a Celebrity."

"McFly's Harry has spa quality
STRICTLY star Harry Judd waltzed down to Thorpe’s Lifehouse Country Spa for a well deserved rest before quickstepping off for the show’s national dance tour.
Harry, who is the drummer with boy band McFly, danced his way to the coveted Strictly Come Dancing title just before Christmas.
The Essex boy said: “It’s a lovely area and my dad used to own a beach hut along the seafront.
“I used to play with the Frinton Tennis Club in mixed doubles and actually won a tournament there when I was younger.”
Harry came to Thorpe for a chill-out break with violinist girlfriend Izzy Johnston, who recently left classical band Escala.
She has been supporting Harry every step of the way in Strictly but said she missed him during filming.
“It was lovely just to actually see Harry,” said Izzy.
“We have been in the Strictly bubble for the last couple of months and it has been lovely to finally spend Christmas with family and now totally relax.”
