"I’m A Celebrity: Dougie Poynter talks about Mark Wright bromance and Lara Carew-Jones secret wedding!
Popstar and jungle king Dougie Poynter loved his time on I’m A Celeb and got especially close with a certain someone. Speaking about his close relationship with Mark Wright, the McFly star told The Sun’s TV Buzz:
“Everyone was really lovely, and of course everyone was joking about my ‘bromance’ with Mark Wright, weirdly we didn’t talk about girls much there – if you’re hungry your libido falls out your pants.”
But even though he was tight-lipped about girls, Dougie did talk about his rehab experience:
“I didn’t mean to talk about it but I’m glad I did, it got rid of a lot of inner demons: I’m not ashamed of it,” he explained.
Dougie admitted the hardest thing about the show was being away from his girlfriend Lara Carew-Jones.
“We met about six months ago when I commissioned her to do a painting for me, we were meant to meet for an hour and eight hours later we were still chatting,” he added.
Dougie also revealed the truth behind the marriage rumours saying:
“There’s a rumour we’re getting married and I’m not sure where that came from. Of course I’d like to get married in the future. Will I marry Lara? Definitely. I’d quite like a Star Wars-themed wedding.”
Not only was Dougie the king of the jungle, his McFly bandmate Harry Judd was named king of Strictly Come Dancing. Dougie teased, “Harry and I were joking about both doing reality shows and I pointed out that I had to eat a penis, whereas all he had to do is dance around in sequins.” Both are hoping to win awards at the National Television awards, and they will certainly celebrate in style if they win: “Every time McFly win something we strip naked and post a picture, so maybe I’ll mix it up and Tweet a picture of me fully clothed.”"

"The Wanted and McFly are doing a gig together!
What do you get when you cross one hot current boyband with one former boyband and a Strictly Come Dancing Trophy and a Jungle crown?
We may have given the game away. We also may have just confused you. We may have confused ourselves. What we were trying to say in one big breathless squeal of excitement is that The Wanted and those gorgeous McFly boys have announced they will be performing, together!
Sorry, we had to run round the room in excitement there.
The huge concert will be dual-headlined by the two bands (we get it, one of them is not better than the other, they are equally lovely) for Blackpool's brand new Tower Festival Headland on Sunday 24th June. Right opposite Blackpool tower, where Harry was only a month ago.
It's a while away but these grey days have us dreaming of summer and this is an event that we really like thinking about. The Wanted have been recently touring the US with Justin Bieber, achieving great early success over there with Max even tweeting this morning:
"Cant believe whats happened to me in the last 3 years....from nothing to touring america.... Thanks so much... Doin it for you guys x"
In the meantime, the McFly boys have been biding their time in the background. That is until recently, when Dougie became King of the Jungle on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here at the same time as Harry became the Strictly Come Dancing champion. They are also embarking on a UK tour and we should be able to hear some new material from the guys - we've been waiting a while!
All in all, a seaside weekend break with these boys thrown in, doesn't sound half bad. Although you'd better make sure you get in early if you want a ticket. The tickets for McFly's upcoming tour sold out within a few days!"

"Fillies’ favourites McFly to play concert at York Races
CHART-TOPPING band McFly will play at York Races this summer, it has been announced.
The group will perform after the racing action on Saturday, July 28 as part of the Music Showcase Weekend at the track.
McFly’s Harry Judd said: “We’ll be in York for our sold-out gig at the Barbican in April, so we’re very excited to be back in the city, performing at the racecourse in July.
“We really enjoy playing racecourses and, because we’ve heard there’s always an incredible atmosphere at York Races, we are especially looking forward to performing.”
The event is part of the Yorkshire Racing Summer Festival, a nine-day celebration of racing across the region when all eight flat courses will stage a meeting.
York Racecourse’s head of marketing and sponsorship, James Brennan, said, “It is great news that McFly, a band that bring a smile, will be performing with us at York.”"

Strictly Come Dancingin kiertue alkoi tässä muutama päivä sitten, ja siitä on kirjoitettu paaaaljon lehtijuttuja. Tässä yksi kokonaisuudessaan ja loppuihin linkit:
"Strictly Come Dancing live tour 2012 kicks off with array of revealing outfits
Strictly Come Dancing stars Chelsee Healey, Anita Dobson and Harry Judd are limbering up for this year's Strictly live tour, which means lots of sparkle and lots of skin on show at the Birmingham Indoor Arena.
The Strictly Come Dancing tour, which sees winner Harry Judd join the likes of Chelsee Healey, Robbie Savage, Nancy Dell'Olio, Lulu and Anita Dobson on a 5-week tour of the UK, kicks off today with the first performance taking place in Birmingham.
The stars of the show, which was a hit in the ratings for the BBC when it aired throughout autumn 2011, were seen rehearsing and larking about in a brand new array of sparkly, sequined outfits.
Former EastEnders star Anita told fans of the show that 'everyone does the same' throughout the tour, with each couple performing two dance numbers plus a couple of group dances.
But all eyes are on Harry Judd, who as the reigning champion of Strictly Come Dancing appears to have a new-found confidence.
He said: 'It feels very good coming into the Strictly tour as champion. I was thinking about that before the final; I thought "I know I'm doing the tour and I'd love to be the reigning champion on the tour", so I did it and it feels good.'
Speaking about what he has been doing since his Strictly win in December, Judd said he has enjoyed a rest at his parents' house and insists that the victory hasn't changed his outlook on life.
'I kind of just went home after the final and went to my mum and dad's, and sat and watched TV and just did normal things for about two or three weeks,' he said.
'My life hasn't really changed. I'm just being as normal as possible and that's how I like to lead my life really.'
Last year, it was revealed that husband-and-wife team Ola and James Jordan, who are professional dancers on the BBC series and have appeared in other Strictly tours, had not been invited onto this year's tour.
James - who clashed with head judge Len Goodman a number of times onscreen - wrote on Twitter: 'Myself and Ola will definitely NOT be doing the Strictly tour. Just received an E-MAIL to say we are not needed.'
Strictly insiders believe the pair may have been axed from the spectacle because of the 33-year-old dancer's disagreements with Len throughout the series."

Eilen oli Iso-Britanniassa National Television Awardsit (NTA) ja Dougie oli siellä Mark Wrightin kanssa ottamassa vastaan I'm a Celebrity.. Get Me Out Of Here!:n voittaman palkinnon "Paras tosi-tv -ohjelma" -kategoriassa. Tästä ei ikävä kyllä ole videota, mutta löysin poikien haastattelun:
Lopuksi vielä hieman uutisia Amerikan mantereelta: Gleessä Artietä näyttelevä Kevin McHale sanoi Huffington Postille haluavansa laulaa McFlyta, ja haastattelija ehdotti All About You'tä.
Artikkeliin on nostettu esille erityisesti One Direction, Girls Aloud, The Wanted ja tietenkin McFly. Artikkelin voit lukea täältä.
Listas-sivustolla on myös "Parhaat fanit" -äänestys, äänestäkää Galaxy Defendersejä täällä! Olemme tällä hetkellä seitsemäntenä mm. Lovaticsien ja Beliebersien takana.. Äänestäkää!
